The Mirror says Chelsea are also close to signing Boro keeper Turnbull, 24, to add to their "homegrown" quota. Turnbull is off contract at Boro next week. Tomlewis7 0
If this one is ACTUALLY true, a good signing IMO. Along with Sturridge it looks like exciting times ahead for Chelsea, might finally buy a player with potential and turn him into an absolute world class star, Ala Terry or Lampard. Although i feel slightly paedofilic getting excited of Chelsea signing all of these "kids". Actually, scrap that, im safe, im 19...Any of you older fans better be careful though. Rambo 1,729
I read somewhere saying he want's to play first team football, good luck with that Ross. Cech won't be going anywhere for a while. If he doesn't mind playing behind him, than he would be a good young backup for the future.
BlueLion. 21,491
Well if he is as aspiring as he says he is, and wants to play first team football, he can train hard and push Cech. That way, we get competition between the goalkeepers and Cech's performances will improve, theoretically.
