Milan 17,959
Ancelotti not a Gourcuff fan Setanta Milan head coach Carlo Ancelotti has aimed a swipe at Yoann Gourcuff, who is currently on loan at Bordeaux. France international Gourcuff only appeared 13 times as a starter for the Rossoneri in two seasons, and Ancelotti has defended his coaching, while the playmaker is shining in his homeland. Bordeaux have first option to sign Gourcuff for £14 million, and Chelsea have also emerged as a possible destination for the outstanding player. Ancelotti previously said he is not a huge admirer of the French star, and the Italian has continued to criticise the 22-year-old. Ancelotti declared: “Gourcuff has had the time of play he deserved at Milan.” The tactician also said: “If Gourcuff didn’t play a lot here it’s because he didn’t deserve more. “In the case he was back, his place in the starting line-up wouldn’t be guaranteed. He would have to win his place, like every other player. “He has done good things in France because he is ensured of being in the XI. But he can’t replace Kaka because he is slower and less dynamic than him.”
the wes 7,212
Yoann Gourcuff has signed a four-year contract with Bordeaux. The France international has been in superb form the French Ligue 1 leaders this season, after moving from AC Milan on a year-long loan deal in the summer. Laurent Blanc made it clear he wanted to keep the midfielder on a permanent basis, and they had until May 31 to finalise a deal with the Italian giants. Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool were all monitoring the situation with the player dubbed as the new Zinedine Zidane, but it has now been confirmed that Gourcuff will stay at Bordeaux. It is being reported that the 22-year-old has penned a four-year deal with the club, who are expected to pay a fee in the region of £12million for the transfer. Chelsea_Fan 227
Probably would have beena good variant to add creativity and speed to our midfield. Are we interested in him?
Gianfranco_Z 202
I haven't been particularly impressed with him when I watch him... showed good promise but I don't think he's all that. We can do alot better.

Peace. 4,352
Lol Madmax ^^No, no and no. This boy doesn't suit the big teams. At Bordeaux he was the big fish in a small pond. He is too shy to be good in big teams (He said himself that he didn't perform well with Lyon certainly because he was too shy). And to be honest, he was good just for a year, and even back then he was overrated. So no.
Duppy Conqueror 1,549
he can go and play for Arsenal, with the other shrinking violets and play out the rest of his career with lots of praise every year from the media but only the odd cup runners up medal every 2-3 years.
