chrismada9 1,948
HA!! Read this what Guillem Balague said on his own website... There is further irony, however, in the fact that while Calderon cannot afford to be seen as being bullied in to selling one of his star players, it was only a few weeks ago, in reference to Cristiano Ronaldo , that the Madrid president said: 'If one of my players wanted to leave that badly, I would let him go.' Yeah, looks like it mr Ramon Cunt-eron

DavidEU 2,023
If Paulo goes: 20 outfield players including Scott Sinclair, Franco di Santo, and a player thats never played for us (Ivanovic). Ridiculous.

EskWeston 696
The roumer mill is going into meltdown today.... Aparently Madrid have put in an offer for Berbatov which could open up a move for Robinho, although Berbatov is also a target for Man Utd and has had an offer accepted by Man City!!!! The noises regarding Robinho today are not very optomistic. But we are desperate now for a forward and we have no other players on radar... EskWeston 696
This is really stressing me out! time is running out fast and im so desperate for Robinho to sign why don't we bid for Berbatov????? Because we need a fast tricky winger/forward type player. We already have Drogba and Anelka who can do what Berbatov does... It certainly seems like Robinho is our only option. And if Madrid are clever they can tie up Berbatov and let Robinho go.
warnie_666 1,081
Well...its seems like something is brewing in Madrid. Often, there is a lull before a storm. Had Robinho's bid rejected for good, we would have come to know about it by now. But even the media is kept guessing. Well, cant wait for the"STORMY" news of the day "ROBINHO SIGNS FOR Chelsea"
Elliott 7
SSN saying right now that the deal is practically dead and to be honest it sounds as much. Schuster has basically said if Robinho goes, I go, so unless they call his bluff (and that would be a bad move), Robinho is staying put at least until January. Gianfranco_Z 202
I just heard that too, i'm not too gutted about that, but I think we need a couple of new players whoever they are to bolster the squad. Feeling abit edgy on how short it's been cut down.

EskWeston 696
The signs are not great at all at the moment that is for sure. And it is somewhat of a worry that we have Drogba and Anelka as our striker options with Di Santo as an option. And on the wings we have Joe Cole (who hasn't had a great start), Kalou (who hasn't got going yet) and Malouda (who never looks like he wants to get going) with Sinclair as an option. We clearly need something upfront and it was clear right from the end of the season, but the situation has got more neccessary because of us offloading Wright-Phillips, Pizarro and Shevchenko. Gianfranco_Z 202
If we hadnt sold so many players I would have been happy with this squad with just Deco and Bosingwa added, but now I feel we do not have enough, if there are more than likely injuries this season, who do we turn to? We saw that yesterday vs Spurs.

I still find it very hard to believe that Wright-Phillips would have gone without us having a replacement lined up - unless someone has seriously f**ked up somewhere....
