Even Drogba got criticized and he scored the most important goal in the clubs history. No one is saying they don't appreciate what he has done, but that was then, this is now. Some people lol.

I think that most of us love him because he gave us a lot of great moments,but now the time has come that he has to be benched.The reason for that is that he does not give the performances we need for this important position,so that is the logical conclusion that Azpi has to go to his natural position.

I'm really hoping we can see Azpi and Rahman as our fullbacks in the next game. Ivanovic's (awful) games aside, I'm way to tired of seeing him fly around the right wing producing nothing. It's been some time I've seen a decent cross from our full back positions...annoying

Unlikely Ivanovic will be dropped for the next game considering we're away at West Brom on Sunday. Mourinho, as always, won't risk playing a newcomer straight from the get-go in such a vital match.

For me he was at fault for 2nd and 3rd goal. On 2nd he was way too lazy and on 3rd he was easily pushed away. Anything other then bench isn't acceptable to me after his last 2 games. Finally we've signed Rahman so I hope he can impress Jose and get a nod as fast as possible.

What about the offense? Hazard, Willian, Ramires... Add them to Azpi and Ivanovic and you have the worst collection of crossers ever.

Oscar is probably the best crosser in the team and he's just decent. Baba to the rescue, I hope.

Worse performance than last week. Cost us two goals with no fucks given. Needs to be benched to wake this guy up. Should only be a backup CB or last resort CB nothing more until we see significant improvement.

This is what I been thinking.

He can still be good for us but in the CB position.

We just need faster fullbacks ala ashley cole. And hopefully Baba with Azpi can provide that.

I'm still pissed we let go of Luis because Mourinho could not drop Ivan from the RB position.

Azpi and Luis would have been amazing in this second season.

Still a good player but he knows Mourinho won't drop him no matter how he does, therefore he is too relaxed and lazy on the pitch. Can't really blame him.

What we may fail to understand is that Mourinho sees all Ivanovic shortcomings, YET plays him even with them. There's silly from our POV to suggest that Jose with 20 years AT THE TOP LEVEL doesn't see it. He sees everything on the pitch. He probably just finished watching Man City game 3rd time on the video. He saw what Branislav did there.

But there's question why he plays him even with his sins, is there his heading ability, power and strenght ? My money is on it. Jose sees this as a requirement for this team.

Ivanovic is 31 though, 32 next February, converted CB who never was an athlete. While Azpilicueta is a natural athete, who even trained like athlete as an javelin thrower in teen age, Ivanovic is declining now. He really loses all accelaration that he may had. I think he will be dropped eventually. Ivanovic is no Cafu (lol) to play till his late 30s, right ?
