.Cee 50
I first saw this pic a few years ago and still got tears in my eyes even tho I've seen it a few times. Made donations to Unicef yearly now. Might not be much at all but at least it's something...

Fulham Broadway 17,319
The childrens mothers were yards away collecting food from a plane according to the photographer with Carter. He saw the vulture land, and then he waited 20 minutes for the vulture to spread it's wings, but it wouldnt oblige. He sold the pic for $6000 to a New York magazine apparently. Elliott 7
No wonder he committed suicide, sold his soul to the devil.
BlueLion. 21,491
Horrible picture. I pride myself on the fact I give monthly to Unicef and have done a few fundraisers for them, but its still a sickening sight.
.Cee 50
No wonder he committed suicide, sold his soul to the devil. Yes, and yet if he didn't take that pic and sold it, A LOT of people would still be ignorant of the sufferings around the world.
Elliott 7
It's the fact that he waited until the vulture was ready to strike that gets me.

chrismada9 1,948
Oh my god! I don't think I've ever seen a more horrible picture  The child dies in search of food so that it can be food for something else, that's heartbreaking to see something like that. Para6iT 2
Omg..it tears me up inside though. It's better for that child to die than suffering like that
