Bayern Munich's promising winger Toni Kroos could be on his way to Chelsea, according to German media sources, while his father and agent wants to hold talks with the Bundesliga giants.

The 18-year-old Kroos is seen as a top prospect in Europe, and the Germany Under-21 international is being linked to a January loan to Stamford Bridge in the domestic press.

Bayern boss Jurgen Klinsmann has stated he would not be against sending the teenager on loan abroad.

Roland Kroos, the father and agent of the young Toni, is aware of the rumours linking his son to The Blues.

"I am going to have a meeting with [general manager] Uli Hoeness soon," he told Bild.

Hasn't he been linked to us anymore? He'd be just what we need atm. I'm amazed the last posts on this thread were 3 years ago. I find him one good talent of the exciting new German generation, alongside the likes of Götze, Marin, Müller, Hummels, Schürrle etc.

Is that the reason for their good national team? I see no excuse for English NT then, I don't think any of them is abroad atm :whistling:

The english squad is a special case of bad coaching coupled with 'too-much-superstars' syndrome. If the english players show as much commitment with the national side as their teams, england would always be among the best in the world.
