Its always the way with most strikers we've bought!

I don't think we'll bring him back he had a shit year last season & Anelka's doing the business now

maybe he's made for the german league

A lot of players seem to find it hard to adjust to the pace of the game in the EPL. Its all guns blazing from the off. The other european leagues seem to be more slower in pace.

Look at Gomes for Spurs, he was a class keeper for PSV, he looks out of his depth in the Premiership. Funny as fuck though

"KEEPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERS........Oh ffs".

I think that's what suits him. He hasn't got the strength or the work rate to play alone, but he has got a bit of guile to play that supporting role.

I remember feeling that we lost at the Emirates last season because we tried to play Sheva up on his own instead of supporting him with Pizarro. Reckon we would've scored if we had done that.

Pizarro is defniatly made for the Bundesliga, and not for the EPL.

He is good in Werder, just because the team is shit. Playing in 4-4-2 he gets his goals, but not as a lone striker.

For Chelsea he was very poor....don´t get him back.

I'm sure people were saying that of Dimitar Berbatov when he first came to the PL... then look what happened.

but Berbatov is a different kind of player

obviously he scores and give assists, but he struggles also... in Manunited, also different concerning Spurs

he has this special moments, but is not a striker like Torres and Drogba back in the days, these are made for the EPL....

I don't think you can be 'made' for a certain type of league. Players like Shevchenko and Pizarro have simply spent such long periods of time in foreign leagues that it becomes second nature to them, and a new league is a massive challenge.

well, not every player coming to the EPL has physical strength, some kinda pace

but you are right, even the opposite might be able to play in England, like Zola...

but you can see that there is some kind of "average player" concerning hight, physical ability and stuff i´d say
