Releasedate: 22.05.2021 | Online: 00:01 CEST.

Having already seen a ZX 5000 in 2020 as part of the A-ZX series, adidas Originals has once again teamed up with the National Parks Foundation to present us three more ZX Legends and a pair of Adilettes that have been inspired by various national parks around the world, both in terms of color and content.

The ZX 9000 comes in a colorway that already hints at where the journey is headed - namely north to Montana, very close to the Canadian border. The Glacier National Park is located in the high mountains area of the Rocky Mountains and got its name from the glaciation during the Ice Age. With the ZX 9000 »Glacier« it quickly becomes clear, where the legendary ZX Runner got its color inspiration from.

There's really no need to explain much more about this legend:
With the ZX 9000 »Glacier«, adidas has once again managed to combine functional trail details with their authentic heritage design. The upper of the shoe is made of a tough and durable Cordura fabric, on top of which high-quality nubuck overlays have been placed. To round off the ZX 9000, the collaborators equipped the runner with trail-inspired reflective laces and several small brandings.
