Yes, they have PR help, but we cannot know if what they say in particular cases was calculated or just said impromptu to a journalist asking. In any case, if he is bullshitting, then Courtois should hire his agent, think we all can agree on that.

quite on the contrary: as a person I've heard really great things of him during the olympics... a class act.

Still it has nothing to do with football, agents, or PR.

There is nothing irrational about my dislike of him as a player: I have very clear in my mind the things he doesn't do and I wish he did (quite a few).

That's where we mostly disagree: I think mikel is very greedy. I think he only cares about money and that's the only reason he's stayed. Now if you believe player love clubs, I'm not going to stop you.

I do not base my judgment on what they say whatsoever. Most of it is very well thought out, often with the blessing of the club and most certainly input from their agent. What is he supposed to say? I wish I could play more, but no other club will give me 75K a week, so I rather sit on the bench or not even that, than play in a smaller club for far lower wages - have you seriously ever heard a player say anything like this?

Arbeloa may not seem like one but he is a very passionate player. Casillas: " Arbeloa is a leader in the dressing room and when he speaks, you listen”. I have also seen pre-game footage that supports what Casillas says.

Passive and comfortable players are more common in British teams in my opinion, because fans are more forgiving and less demanding than Spanish or Italian fans.

Those Nigerian fans are very stupid - Mikel was just a substitute for Makelele and Essien (Actually, Mikel is AMC not DMC). Health Mikel cannot challenge the starter position of either health Makelele and health Essien.

Hope that Mikel Obi can successfully transfer to another club and will have good performance. (For my selfish wish, I want him to go because Chelsea have Kante, Matic and future star Chalobah.)

 

But I am worried that Emenalo will use his privilege to keep Mikel Obi in the team.

Don't read that dross, they are biased to the core and not Chelsea fans. Their logic is super flawed. Mikel is their legend and they worship the man, it has very little to do with his footballing abilities.

Mikel Obi has no future in Chelsea.

 

We have much more CAM like Willian and Oscar, but they are benchwarmers now!

 

Also, only one kind of  formation is for Mikel - Bus Parking Array like 9-0-1 or 8-1-1, but I tell you that Chelsea is no longer bus-parking team!

 

I really hope that Mikel will have left Chelsea by the next summer (current contract expiry date) and find a new club for starter!

There's no CAM in this formation. Three CBs, two CDMs, two wingback, two winger, one striker. That's why Oscar and Fabregas are out of favor.

I get that.  I was alluding to the fact that he plays a more all action midfield role with Nigeria.  A CAM who can play CDM is kind of box-to-box in my eyes.  Like what we use now.
