wilander 35
On 2016/8/12 at 6:25 AM, Jype said: I agree, Mikel is a useful player to have and he'd improve many PL teams but by the looks of things many PL teams are not interested in his services. Only links we've seen of Mikel going out in the last few years have been to the biggest Turkish clubs and they don't have the same kind of money even average PL teams do, never have and never will. If Conte sees use for Mikel even as a squad player the club should be asking for way more than £2.6M but like I said if it comes down to selling for a small fee and getting his wages off the books or having him rot in the stands while not even playing, it's a no-brainer. We have Cesc, Oscar, Kante, Matic, RLC and Chalobah and Mikel to play in midfield and personally I'd like for the two youngsters to be given chances to shine instead of Mikel so I wouldn't mind the sale, even if it meant selling for cheap. If he does go I'll just say Mikel's been a great servant for the club, signed over ten years ago and played almost 400 games without ever throwing a tantrum if some new manager didn't fancy him or anything. Mikel is still at the Olympics so I'd assume the ball will get rolling sometime next week if there's something going on. Should there be some truth in those rumours we'll be hearing about it soon because if I'm not mistaken Turkish clubs need to make an announcement to the league if they even enter negotiations for a player. Also Remy is a striker, strikers go for bigger money than defensive midfielders. And even in Remy's case I don't think we could get more than around £7M for him. I don't think Mikel is useful now! Mikel Obi never wants to leave Chelse (correctly London), he refused Galatasaray for several times.  He just wants to luckily have contral renewal under helping by Emenalo. But then because he wont have playing time he wont be getting media attention so his value will be down PLUS the payrise we give him has now put his wages beyond 90% of the clubs in the world! Or we let his contract slip and say thanks for the memories and say ta ra to a chunk of change! I'm afraid I'd pay for his cab!

Like last year, he claims that he need to stay in U.K. longer for applying U. K. Passport via neutralisation.  He keeps good relationship with teammates and have special relationship with Abramovich and Emenalo. I am worried that he can luckily earn a new contract renewal. Hope that he has no contract renewal!  Chelsea FC cannot have much more inefficient substitute on bench, otherwises, it will damage Chelsea's chance to win EPL and UCL in future. Then Costa, Hazard and Courtois may leave!
Unionjack 7,531
OK So we got Bad News - Good News - Badishhh News Bad News Stevie Hollands leaving us at end of season to go with Southgate full time cause those cunts Spuds went crying and whineing to the FA saying it gave us an unfair advantage as for ijuries!! What a road of Borrox!!  Good News Mikel might be going to join Mounure!!!! Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is set to make a shock move to land former player John Obi Mikel from Chelsea. The Nigeria international was a favourite at times under the 53-year-old when Mourinho was in charge and whilst it is Willian who has been tipped to reunite with his former manager, Mourinho is instead reportedly eyeing up his teammate Mikel.http://www.squawka.com/news/chelsea-news-rumours-mourinho-eyes-reunion-with-john-obi-mikel-blues-dealt-blow-in-bonucci-pursuit/838946#YHxC6sQf4V6Grk8c.99  Badishhh News  Bonnucci is out till at least Jan so we cant sign him!! Great player but at 29 we need someone younger - IMHO of course.  Chelsea have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Juventus centre-back Leonardo Bonucci, with the 29-year-old ruled out for ’45-60 days’ with a thigh injury. The Old Lady confirmed the injury on Monday and it means Bonucci could be out until mid-January, which may force Antonio Conte to turn his attentions elsewhere for January reinforcements at the back.http://www.squawka.com/news/chelsea-news-rumours-mourinho-eyes-reunion-with-john-obi-mikel-blues-dealt-blow-in-bonucci-pursuit/838946#YHxC6sQf4V6Grk8c.

As bench substitute, Mikel Obi can't satisfy the need for Chelsea future ambition in both EPL and UCL.

Since you registered I have only seen you post about Mikel, nothing else. When I go to your profile, ctrl+F "Mikel" I get 41 hits and that's only in November lol... this number indicates unhealthy obsession. OneMoSalah 8,886
Apparently there's talk of him maybe getting a new contract and playing higher up as a 8 as opposed to a 6. Don't think he's not good enough to be a squad player here, he's just not suited for the system as we don't play with a 6. I can't remember wher I seen the information but will try find link and post it. Think he should be looking to leave though for regular footvall, only really got back in to team due to poor performances last season which says it all considering he has sat on the bench most weeks this season.
