Really tightening now. Millie Bright on for Ji. Love Millie, she was excellent at Wembley anchoring midfield with Drew Spence. Was disappointed she didn't start today. Good player.

6 minutes plus stoppage time remain.

seems like she is the one that has lost her place so Kirby can play

Win our next two games a we are the champions http://www.fawsl.com/stats.html#G6zi0XJcYBjptvPH.97

If City fail to win on Thursday, we can clinch the title with victory at Liverpool in two weeks time. Be nice to get it done then and turn the last fixture into a celebration. Unfortunately I think City will win in midweek. They are the form team in the league right now.

be nice to take it off them, seeing as they beat us to it on the last day last season

City won 2-0 last night so the table looks like this with two games to go.

We got two tough games left, simply we have to win both because city are in great form atm and will no doubt take advantage of any slip ups

Did we lose it in the final day last season as well? Would be beyond cruel if that were to happen again.

That said, I think a win and a draw would suffice as we have a superior GD to City.

yeah lost it to liverpool

Yeah, I remember. The bloody media jinxed us. They all were running stories about before the match how the first female manager was going to win the league and how much of a surprise it was that the team had done so well under her and then we went and lost when a draw would have been enough to clinch the title, IIRC.

First fifteen minutes were not great but, overall, the best performance I've seen from the ladies. The scoreline is a fair reflection of their dominance. Ji was great and picked up MOTM but Gemma Davidson was outstanding too. Excellent wing play from her, including two brilliant assists where she beat her 'man' and pulled it back to set up easy chances.

Title is ours next week if we beat Sunderland, or City fail to beat Notts County. If we draw then City need to win by four goals or more to overtake us on goal difference. In certain circumstances however, a three goal win might do for them. Of course if we loose then any win will do for City.

3-0 now. Still 25 mins left but that's the title wrapped up surely.

Really enjoying watching the ladies play. Eni has been great, Fran Kirby is having her best game so far in Chelsea blue, Drew Spence has just been subbed but has been excellent at the heart of midfield, Gemma Davidson has been outstanding as usual and Ji has been imperious in the ten. A pleasure to watch this team.
