what people don't see is how important a left sided ball playing beast is to Sarri's team. Rudiger can surely play some time there but having someone who knows his system and was arguably the reason why it was so successful is irresistible in my eyes. 

Plus we've been chasing this guy for like 3 seasons

paying anything over 50 milion euros/pounds for a player on whos position we already have good, young players is dumb. especially when we have like 5 other positions where we would need a quality player.

No its not. we have a new manager coming in who requires different things from the CB's. It is a crucial position in the Sarri set up. A lot of the time it is Koulibaly who is dictating the play from the back... Remember the system is set up to suck defenders forward, and create overloads on the pitch, you need a LEFT SIDED CB who is more than comfortable on the ball and has great passing range to go with composure. This is Koulibaly and no defender we currently have can do the role he does for Napoli now

I'm wondering after hearing how Sarri manages to change some players IF he coulddo owt with Luiz. I know hes getting on and we really sjhould think about capitalizing on him BUT hes so good for moral and has a good character in the dressing room. I wonder if he could do owt with him. I go back to when Conte said he shall be very good for Chlsea when he came back. nBut I'm open minded about him offski too.

As much as KK would be a huge asset to our team, i think we should be focusing on the central midfield, wings and striker positions as priority. If we blow all our funds on a CB, that would be quite dumb.

Luiz is perfect playing the sweeper role with three CB's formation Luiz mades to many mistakes playing 4 at the back remember his 1st spell at the club he was shocking at times he was that bad giving away goals thats we had to play him in midfield in games it's time to sign a class CB cahill and Luiz are done

Rudiger and KK would be my CB'S if we were to get KK

But if we missed him for the sake of £5mill before I very much doubt we will be trying for him now will we. Gotta take the chances when they come.
