A few disappointments.If Willian and Falcao could have finished, how many more assists would Pedro have had? Pedro brought the spark we desperately need. Let's hope the rest of the team takes his lead and starts to resemble his play and not after several games, he starts to look like we did the past 4 matches playing in molasses. Oscar instead of Willian improves our finishing I believe. Can't wait to see us with Pedro-chemistry. We may start to look like last year, early last year that is.Courtois had a great game. Zouma looked solid as well. Ivana, not so much, but we survived. Thought Cesc started to play better late though lost a guy in the box late that could have resulted in a goal.Come on Everton, at least get a draw and tighten up the table.It's been a good day, a Blue day! En Ivanovic tengo más esperanzas, en su nivel más alto es muy bueno, pero parece que sigue de vacaciones. Me parece más urgente un CM que un lateral.Three points, a debut goal for Pedro and an opening goal for Diego Costa this season.Pretty happy with that but there's A LOT of room for improvement, the defense is horrible at the moment and central midfield is not really working either. Terry and Ivanovic look like they're still on their summer holidays and Matic hasn't been himself either. For the first two it might be the age catching up to them and they need more rest to perform as good as we know they can, which is where Baba and the potential Stones signing come in, but what's going on with Matic? He's not had a great start to the season but other than one very poor moment before their first goal I can't remember too many instances of him being overly bad. *shrug*Him getting spun completely for their second goal?All of their chances came from the left as well. Hats off, I didnt believe he will have such an impact. But its still only one game. I wont get too excited until he performs for couple of games in row.But overall we still have plenty of problems. Cesc and Iva have absolutely no clue how to defend. No tactical understanding, positioning and the amount of bad passes in dangerous areas from those two is shocking.Also am I the only one who sees how average is Matic atm? He isnt bad, but far from his best. I have feeling he is the key of this team and we need him in best form to elevate us to next level. But he was average for some time now...IMO we should just switch to 4:3:3. Our midfield is poor, we need another player there, our defense needs more protection too. Besides we dont even play with typical #10, our #10 doesnt dictate the tempo, sets chances etc, so IMO its pointless that we play with #10 when we would benefit more with another mid in centre.
