The Skipper 20,609
The bookies know as much as we do, wouldn't go on their odds at all. Doesn't anyone remember Harry Redknapp being odds on favourite to be CFC manager before AVB came in?

And yeah i can name you a shit load of times that an evens or worse shot has lost, but i can name you more 7/1 or higher shots that have lost... YouNameIt 1,511
Oh yeah, 100% agree, in fact i can see it as in all honesty they look like a team he would be much more suited to. I am pretty sure he will become a great player if he left and would be another regret of ours. But if they offer good money then we would get some cash and it would be better for danny's career as i can't ever see him being our number one. We will probably sell him to looserpool for like 10 mil, then in 2 years buy him back for 35mil. It honestly wouldn't surprise me that much.He doesnt have to be our nr 1. But at the moment (and this season) he hasnt even been our nr 2 when we only have 2 strikers...
Henrique 9,133
I just don't see Falcao being sold in the winter while Atletico is trying to finish in the top 4. Madrid have failed to qualify for the CL in the last few years, qualifing for the CL is a major cash crop and Falcao would still be worth just as much in the summer as he is right now(perhaps more if they qualify for the CL). I think Ba is the best option to displace Torres for half a season, and we need to unload Torres even for free as long as someone else is paying his contract. Atlético could use the money to buy some more players to their squad.
Jype 6,398
Would love for this to be true but as long as neither one of the clubs confirm something is going on, I'm not getting my hopes up. Would make no sense for Falcao to move in the middle of the season and I'm sure Atletico would rather wait till the summer as well.Keeping my fingers crossed though, it really would be a Christmas present like no other! Sheva. 5,373
The fact he didn't play a single minute in EL, makes me think they will sell in January.
Waterfall 893
Him having a buyout clause means it doesn't even matter what Atletico want to do, doesn't it? Surely anything less than the trigger amount won't be enough

Henrique 9,133
This rumours came from Pipi Estrada, a spanish journalist. He said he believed Falcao was going to Real Madrid, but a respected source told him Chelsea already have a deal, and Atlético even received the money. The other guy said he had and information that Chelsea was on pole position to sign him, but Pipi reinforced that its a done deal. Real Madrid is now working on Robbie Van Persie. Fans in one Atléticos' forum are saying they dont believe in Pipi.http://www.intereconomia.com/noticias-/punto-pelota/pipi-estrada-falcao-fichado-por-chelsea-20121218
