Touché. But I still would be pessimistic about the chances of that happening again.. 2-3 seasons ago this would've been the ideal signing because of the lack of any striker at the time. I just don't see the logic in this, we have Diego and Remy so all we need is one more striker to add depth. I'm not suggesting Bamford and Solanke, because I think the former would benefit from another loan. But there are surely cheaper options that will do the job, who is younger and cheaper. Probably just as able too.

Do you have the link to this mate?

Really you don't see the logic in adding a one year removed world class striker at discounted price to be our third choice striker?

I do, I just don't buy this fallacy of this supposed "pay-cut".

If everyone here is right about that, then fair enough I'll hold my hands up to it. I just don't think that will be the case, especially looking at his representatives.

I don't think he has a choice in it. He went to monaco because they were the only people capable of paying those types of fees and wages, similar to Eto'o and Anhzi...

If he wants to continue playing in England and for Chelsea he has to take a wage cut.

Monaco striker Radamel Falcao is set to sign for Chelsea this summer. [sky Sports]

Falcao is ready to accept being part of #Chelsea’s squad, which would see him back up Diego Costa and Loic Remy. [Mirror]

Absolutely don't want him. 2 or 3 years ago, any fee but since his injury he lost one of his main traits, his speed. Of course it's also something mentally he's underperforming but I doubt that's the only reason or main reason

If Jose wants an experienced striker, there are better ones at the moment

It's Jorge Mendes, and Jose involved so the negotiation might going smoother than we expected.
