His allround game was really poor against Westbrom. so many times moves broke down at his feet. He needs to do much better in that regard.

I dont get it, I really dont. We went from Torres to a guy who scores every game and people still fucking moan?

3 games till the Hull City game (next match Derby), both him and Cesc can do a "alonso and ramos" if they can hold it out untill then.

Honestly, with the run of games we have now, neither him nor Cesc should be great misses for any of the matches except Spurs maybe, as long as they don't both miss the same game.

To the amte that said his game was bad, yesterday. Every game for a Striker is good, as long as his name is on the goal sheet, which..it is. I'd rather him break down 2 or 3 attacks, if he is the reason why we won against so many teams for now. Best of lck, DieGOD!

Wouldn't have been the worst thing for him to get that 5th yellow today and get the suspension out of the way against Sunderland.

Thought about that but slightly disagree with it because our next opponent Sunderland are unpredictable, you never know what you're gonna get. Same can be said about the game against Spurs and that's a London derby and not to mention, we face an in-form Newcastle, who are one of our bogey teams recently especially at St James' Park.

Fucking love that finish on Saturday.....eyes on the ball to the point it hits the net.........Quality.

What makes the goal even sweeter is the fact Diego hit the ball straight after the chest touch. There was no bounce of the ball off the ground which is usually the case. Amazing.

I agree that he can sometimes be pretty frustrating with the ball at his feet. He's never been the best technically but he does make up for that with his goalscoring and intelligent play (his off-the-ball movement is always excellent).

Yes, he is one of those strikers who is better at what he does off the ball as opposed to what he does with it, though his goalscoring record is better than any striker in Chelsea's recent history, so I ain't gonna complain!
