Im just exposing the insanity in the arab world and their primitive way of thinking. Now you show me this random photo of god knows what and claim it as strong. And to say Zionists profited physiologically from from abusing sources of the Shoah is insane. Inherent in your post you suggest zionists are nazi's but lets not forget who was allied with the nazi's in ww2. this is haj amin all husseni(probaly spelled it wrong). http://www.think-israel.org/nov09pix/hajamin.hitler.jpg

he was leader of arabs in the british mandate of Palestine, he was well documented as meeting hitler several times and preparing his own final solution for jews living in than manadate of palestine. If were going to accuse people of being nazi's lets start with the Palestinians arabs who conclusively were.

1. You started on Finkelstein

2. The 'random photo of whatsoever' is pretty much THE most iconical pic of ww2 and the Shoah

3. It is PSYCHOLOGICAL not physiological effect- sigh

Dude: you have a clear cut agenda , do not want to hear any info , and so on.

Hence: this thread should be stopped because of its political proselitism.

Also: muslims are NOT a homogenous group. Plus: because they have done wrong things, in NO WAY makes the other right, as you claim. It is NOT because suicidebombers are wrong, you are automatically right,

Dare to think, junior.

Ok your point on recogonzing and not liking is a fair and accurate one. Although egypt and jordan are the two friendliest countries toward israel. Lebanon has no trade for example. And there was an arab boycott after 67. I do not view the west bank as occupied. Since arabs started the 48 war and than lost and in 67 again this is land conquered through self defense. Any giving back is at the mercey of israel. Also arabs in west bank dont live under shariah like in gulf states and many apsects of live are better off under israeli rule than other arab countires. Like jordan opresses pals for example. Secondly west bank is mostly ruled by Palestinians they elect they own leaders and make there own tax code etc. as for the golan heights that will never be given back. its to vital for israeli defense and this was land also conquered in a war of self defense.

Well you frogot Qatar too :). Lebanon doesn't have to trade with Israel, it has the right to trade with whatever country it wants. Again that doesn't mean they don't recognize Israel, it means they don't want to trade with them.

You say the lands given back by Israel was out of mercy. Perfect, so it contradicts your talk about being rational.

The only country that lives with PARTIAL shariah law is Saudo Arabia. Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, UAE and " Iraq" don't, that is another misleading information

So Golan Heights are still not given back, again contradicts what you stated that Israel gave back the land it WRONGFULLY occupied in 1967.

true I should assume guilt by assosiation fallacy but from the stuff I read on a daily basis on twitter thats tweeted from egyptians I follow to the stuff I hear from school from eyptian students I get a strong sense the rest of Egypt isn't far from her view point.

If you get your information from " Tweeter and the Egyptian students in school" then use it as a stereotype then seriously I have no clue what to tell you. I suggest you read maybe? Or listen to scholars and professionals? But seriously not Tweeter and school kids. Come on !!

Thread needs to stay open for a while. Theres no personal abuse so lets keep it that way.

If the jews and arabs and anyone else discussing on this thread come from the standpoint of wanting peace- this forum could be history in the making- mighty oaks from acorns...

Now that I agree on! Wanting peace being the crux of the matter.

This, now, is too much like how childish politicians behave.

There is a stalemate, no peace talks, and then a spark or incident renews violence.

Come on TC members we're better than that -LET the peace talks begin !

The only way to solve conflicts is through dialogue

I agree the only way is keep the dialogue going. But for peace to happen, the discussion should be more constructive. It is no simple situation like either sides would claim. If people are willing to compromise, then that will definitely lead to peace. But if either side sees that they have ALL the rights and deny the other side of anything then it usually ends in stalemate.

Israel is a fact and the Palestinians should realize that. They have their right to exist and live safely. Equally goes for the Palestinians. Them and their kids have the right for their country and to live.

Both sides will hate it each other since that they had on going conflicts for over 50 years. But they have to get along.

Israel's safety will not increase through their strikes against Gaza, it will lead to nothing but the death of civilians and the increase of radicals who sooner or later would find a way to hurt Israel back. According to where I live I can pretty much tell you that all the political turbulence in the region is signaling for that. Settlements have to stop. According to polls in Israel, there is a significant increase in the amount of youth who don't want to be drafted to the army. This can be a good thing for the Israelis or a bad thing. The clear good think about it is that more of the young generation just want to live and pursue their lives like every human has the right to without having war.

Palestinians need to unite. The extreme political divide between Gaza's Hamas and West Bank's Fath is non sense. They need to have a clear vision of what they want. Most radicals are in control of Gaza. I think it will be smart if the Israelis would strike a deal with the West Bank. If the Israelis and the Palestinians in the West Bank could agree on a deal that would ensure the Israelis safety and the Palestinians rights, this will create pressure on Hammas by their own people to change the way they are behaving.

It needs a lot of courage for both sides to admit their mistakes and to have the will to take steps to settle this. Nothing will happen in a day, a month or even a year. It will definitely take time and implementations will face obstacles. But if people are willing to go down that road of peace then they have to endure anything they face and realize it is the best for both sides.

Such a complicated issue it seems :(

I really hope that there would be peace some day, but honestly it doesn't look likely in the near future.

Too much hate (from both sides), too much politics, too much history, too much brainwashing, not enough trust....

My parents always used to say how I wont have to go to the army when I'm 18 because there'll be peace by then.

Well what do you know, a few weeks ago was my 18th birthday and in few months I'll be serving as a soldier in the IDF.
