LAM09 7,048
You are killing me. friend Even if I write something positive about Salah you take it as an insult. I have never said that "he is EL level". I said Fiorentina is the right place for him NOW. He's already played in the Champions League and I think it's better to play in the EL than sitting on his butt on weekdays. They play 2 matches every week, Montella's style suits him and the other players already trust him, they pass towards him a lot. If he is good enough he will grow out Fiorentina.A bit off, but EL is pretty good this year so we shouldn't use it as a swear word anymore. Teams take it more seriously because the winner goes to the Champions League now. Good oppurtunity for teams like Fio, Everton, Sevilla etc.You didn't say now, but I got what you meant afterwards. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but people are too hasty to pass judgement. That's normally the issue of concern. In regards to the EL, I've always thought it's a decent competition. Only people in England take it as a joke, but the rest of Europe know it's vital to do well for their coefficient.
BlueLyon 9,359
Its just funny people try to explain everyone Salah is still shit, only because he left us and they were saying he should be sold, but now Salah is slowly proving them wrong. He plays better there than I thought, but I wont bother much until he puts such performances here. That's normally the issue of concern.I still believe in him, that's exactly why I watched 3 out of his 6 match las month. I'm only saying that it wass better for all three parties to loan him out to Fiorentina.Football is a buisness and it's fast these days. We got rid of Grant, Scolari, Villas-Boas or Di Matteo in a few months and they are managers, not even players. At a top side you have to take your chance quickly, that's all I'm saying. (and I haven't even mentioned Lukaku, Mata, De Bruyne..)Either way, we didn't sell Salah so he might get a second chance. Chelsea are monitoring him.Its just funny people try to explain everyone Salah is still shit, only because he left us and they were saying he should be sold, but now Salah is slowly proving them wrong. He plays better there than I thought, but I wont bother much until he puts such performances here.Who said he was shit? BlueLyon 9,359
Who said he was shit? When you look at some posts people just try to show him like he is not as good as he actualy is because we shipped him away. They will say he isnt good instead of accepting fact that we MIGHT make mistake.IMO he needs regular play time, he wont ever succeed here though, but is good player that will play for one of better teams in europe in future. nyikolajevics

If he keeps on playing like that we either call him back next year or sell him for a couple of millions. Win-win.

For example look like we lost Kevin for peanut now and in a year time if Salah keeps this up we will look the same. If we sell for like 15-20m however and he continues play like he is now then I have no problem as atm he looks like he is worth around that.Kevin atm is worth like at least 35m+ in my opinion so we basically lost a potential 20m in a year min. We clearly made a mistake with Kevin but I think we've learned from it. The board have learned that we just can't let a promising young player go. Loan them out for 2 years(Salah) or only sell them with buy-back option(Thorgan).

akandeel13 34
So according to a source that is very close to Salah, Cheslea CANNOT refuse to take the €18,000,000 if Fiorentina offers it. Wonder who's the idiot who negotiated this deal. Chelsea would still make money, obviously (bought him for €11,000,000), but still, seems like Fiorentina have really done great for themselves. The Skipper 20,609
He is far from the the full article, but to say he is EL level player is an insult. Also, I'm referring to this season. He hasn't had a run of 2-3 consecutive games. How's that an insult? Plenty of good players in the Europa League. To say Salah is much better than all of them? Must be kidding right? IF you're going to air your views on a forum, anyone can reply to it. There isn't some rule against it. I've read what you've said. Nothing wrong with saying EL is Mo's level currently, that's my point. It really isn't an insult to him because there are players better than him that play EL football.
