Maybe he would develop more by going there but that's not why he was bought and I'm pretty sure going to Sunderland for the 14/15 season was not on his mind when he decided to join Chelsea last January. He's more than ready to be an impact player for us and as the 5th AM he will get plenty of chances throughout the season. Even without injuries he can get a good amount of games, at least as a substitute, and he's only one injury or suspension away from playing in every game.I seriously hope there's nothing in these loan rumours, same goes for van Ginkel. If we need to free up that one foreign player spot we can easily just leave out Schwarzer at least until January because behind Courtois and Cech he's hardly going to get a game. I agree with you though. I doubt Salah is going anywhere. Loaning him would leave us really vulnerable in case of an injury anywhere in the midfielde.
