You missed out on cabaye and strootman.In my opinion our top priority this summer has to be moutinho/modric with benat and cabaye as backups in case our move for moutinho/modric fails.

Cabaye has had injury problems. although i have to say he's a good option...great long range shooter as well.

as for Strootman, i don't follow the eredivisie closely except for Vitesse i guess

Never Porto is a club known for the rediculous amount of money they want for their best players, else hulk wouldve never gone for 60M

Porto is a shit great negociator, but there is no one wanting to buy Moutinho for now. Hence Spurs would get him for 23mi...

If we are the only buyers, 25mi will be enough. If we face competition from Manchester Utd (very probable), we will have to raise it to 30mi or so (Modric numbers). Even so, I think he is worth it because he solves most of our problems and he will even make Mikel look better.

Josh isn't ready yet for me... Modric would be my favourite as he can dictate play from deep, and would be a really great addition who would fit into the current crop of players. Moutinho would also be a good signing, as he can do a very similar thing to modric.

I would love to see KDB pushed into that slot tbh, as a first option that is free, but if that won't work then modric out of the options suggested.

His injury problem's are not that serious plus he is also a freekick specialist,imagine for left side freekicks to have mata and for the right sided freekicks to have cabaye.

I honestly don't think we need a huge outlay in the transfer window... We need to get everyone back from loans etc, go through them all, get the best team ready, give it some great guidance from a great manager and the best man manager, work hard in pre season, and perhaps buy a cm. Doesn't mean we won't spend a lot, but i just don't think we have to. We have an amazing REALLY YOUNG squad, that imo is pretty much good enough, with the right work and leadership.

I think we should focus on McEachran as @CHOULO19, said. He's not gonna cost us anything and he is the perfect midfielder for us since he has vision and the defensive capabilities to play in the pivot. Modric, Moutinho and Benat will cost us more than their value. If we try to get Benat Real Betis won't sell him to us for less than 25 mil pounds. It's about time McEachran started playing for us since he's only a year younger than Wilshere.

Good read, although like some people have already mentioned I would have added Witsel, Cabaye and maybe Strootman in the mix as well.

Don't really care which individual we go after this summer but one player in the Moutinho / Modric / Benat / Witsel / Cabaye / Strootman mould is a must. All of these guys are great players so I guess we should just go after the one who's available the easiest. Didn't know Benat is out of contract in 2014, it could maybe force Real Betis to sell him for a reasonable fee...

Spot on.I really hope that in the coming season we give our youth a chance.The like's of lukaku,KDB,piazon,josh,chalobah and kalas can play a significant part in our squad.Them with 2-3 signings and we could have a very good squad that can challenge for multiple trophies.

Add depth to the squad. in defence - Kalas or Omeruo, in mid - KDB and maybe Chalobah and in attack - lukaku....

squad depth is handy when we have fixture problem like this season
