Yet another shooting in the U.S.

While the wankstains in the senate dither and slowly deliberate over whether to ban guns. Two firemen shot dead in New York state while attempting to put out a fire. If it was down to me, I would turn a gun on that Cunt from the NRA, let him know exactly how it feels.

One big major fucked up country, on a grand scale.

Really fukkd up.

Was havin a chat with an old American guy last week and we talked about how it's unsafe in the States and westerners usually say they might fear going to Lebanon or other Middle Eastern countries. Well I can assure everybody that incidents like school shootings and and movie theater shootings do not occur in our part of the world no matter how war-torn Beirut is.

The US is madly unsafe in that sense and the sad thing is that the lobbyists have too much influence on the Senate so good luck with regulating any gun laws.

The legendary ‘frontier’ so dear to so many Americans still exists in their minds- although it has become everybody and everything outside of themselves that represents mortal danger to them- just as the paranoid, imperial US foreign policy paints anything not within its control as being a threat to ‘national security’.

Meanwhile, obesity and deaths from car accidents in America kill far more people than guns do (and the largest proportion of those shot commited suicide), yet nobody suggests banning cars or fast food (yet), as the capitalist juggernaut rolls on, praised by its own victims who arm themselves against themselves, without realising they are their own worst enemy through ignoring the fact that it is only the wealthy elite that really reaps the benefits of the American Dream.

Like this tweet...

Seriously wtf!

"There maybe too many guns in wrong hands, but ALL teachers MUST have guns/gun training to protect innocent kids!"

WTF, lets get more guns and put them in reach of children, whilst also giving techers who are obviously gun minded and are all nice people access to weaponary around kids... JUST

Just read some tweets and various other coments and some of the BS reasoning is atroucious. The facts speak for themselves and its crazy the amount of people defending guns etc, when more than a dozen children are being burried because of a lunatic with a number of high powered weapons.

The NRA which is just one marketing tool of the US arms industry donated $500 000 000 to the Republican Party last year to ensure their tools off death continue to be sold in every US high street.

....meanwhile for the third year in a row the number of US servicemen and women killed in Iraq/Afghanistan is less than those servicemen and women who choose to commit suicide when they return home.

please don't judge all American's by the vast number of lunatics we have I agree that our gun laws are antiquated and in desperate need of an overhaul. A large portion of our population feels this way but we don't have the NRA who have millions of dollars to stand up for us.

The two most recent shoots have not impacted me personal (as in I didn't lose any friends or family) but it has hit very close. One because I am a parent, two because I am a teacher, and three because my husband grew up in Webster, NY and graduated with one of the two firemen who was shot and killed. I still do not believe teachers should be armed and that our gun laws need overhauled. I applaud all nations that have strict laws and manage to implement them quickly. I wish I had an iota of confidence that my government can achieve the same type of results.

I dont think it helps the solution to the problem is to bring in more guns....scrict laws would defintly help.Course be the people who find their ways around them but in the end might not exactly be worth the effort.Things changed with Dunblane and although we have had shootings,Bird etc it doesnt seem as common

Our media also sensationalizes everything to the point of the ridiculous. It "glamorizes" the criminals and the victims get forgotten, they tried to do better with the incident in Sandy Hook. I still think they failed to not make it seem like a way to be come infamous…. at least to those who are already not quite sane. Does that make any sense?
