can't wait for this. International breaks are so annoying.

got a feeling we might see Ramires on the wing for the sake of Bale. however, i really hope we dont see that, having Ramires in the DM role can still pick up Bale and leave us to have Mata, Oscar and Hazard on the attack.

I'm happy with Cahill coming in for Terry, i even think that it may actually be the right move. Defoe is very good at running through defenders and i think JT would have struggled.

This should be a win. Yes they beat United, but united aren't exactly playing well. they are doing their usual "we play shit and still win in the 90th minute" football. we've got this.

This is one of those games where once you see the line up, you'll know if we are going to win it or not!

No, it's not.

This is one of those games where you need a solid team performance to grab some points. 100% concentration for 90+ minutes.

ok ya, granted, i mean more in the sense that once you see the line up you can tell the tactical approach of RDM. if Rami and bertrand appear on the wings, we arent going to score too many. but if HOM are behind torres, you know we will likely score more goals and it'll be an exciting game of football to watch like Vs Arsenal and Vs Norwich.

More Andre: "It's important to win and get closer to the top and show improvement and keep the flow like we had before the break."

Andre: "You can see the buzz around the ground everyone looks forward to it. It will be extremely hard and we are ready to fight."

Andre: "Our stadium is a very special place to place when the fans are behind us. If the fans put on a show the lads I am sure will respond"

I am sooooooo happy we have Ramires the guy is the key to our midfield. He can stop everyone in the world atm. His pace, his stamina and his defensive awareness is so good. He is very underrated tbh i would pick Ramires over every DM out there, he can stop everyone imo.

It's a bit comforting knowing that win, lose, or draw we'll still be top of the league, but it would be awfully painful losing not only to a direct rival but to AVB as well.

It's equally important to both clubs. If we win another London derby away from home, everyone will finally stop this "Chelsea haven't played anyone" horseshit and give us our dues as a legitimate title contender. If Spuds win it'll give them the confidence to go on and feel as though they are up there with the very best again.

I'd give my left nut to see us thrash them and prevent AVB from celebrating. The thought of Spud fans shit talking us nauseates me.

At the end of this game, either we will all be happy OR really pissed off OR feeling content with the result. Am hoping it won't be the second one, for obvious reasons.

I have a feeling you just said we will either win, lose or draw...

That's just true for every game we play no matter the opposition. Isn't it??

  • Chelsea have failed to win in their last six Premier League visits to White Hart Lane since a 2-0 victory in August 2005 with goals from Asier Del Horno and Damien Duff.
  • Victory for Tottenham would be their 50th over Chelsea in all competitions. Chelsea have 61 wins.

Chelsea

  • Chelsea's tally of 19 points out of a possible 21 represents their best start to a season since 2005-06, when they registered 10 wins and a draw in their opening 11 matches.
  • Defeat by Tottenham would leave them with an identical record to the same stage last season when managed by Andre Villas-Boas (W6, D1, L1).
  • Chelsea are the only team in the Premier League yet to concede a goal in the second half.
  • They have the best defensive record in the division, conceding only four goals so far and keeping four clean sheets.
  • Fernando Torres has now scored 11 league goals in 53 games for Chelsea - it took him just 19 games to reach that mark for Liverpool.
  • If fit, Frank Lampard could make his 500th Premier League start, while Ramires is one shy of 100 appearances for Chelsea.
