MikeCFC 45
Once again the hardworking 'Joe Ordinary' feels the force of Government greed. The motorist battered once again, for the sake of the envioroment. The smoker forced to pay more.I always thought that smoking was a cure to relieve stress The hardworking man who enjoys a pint after work or at weekends,or one who enjoys a glass of wine suffers as the Government curb on binge drinking and underage drinking, whatever one means by 'binge drinking' Plus other taxtion bollocks that the average Joe like myself can't be bothered to understand, neither be educated on.All i know is that we are being fucked over once again by a Government that is meant to support and serve the working class folk of Britain. This certainly is'nt The Labour Party i voted for in 1992(pre Blair/Brown) Anyways, how was it for you?
Fulham Broadway 17,332
Every time theres a budget the working class get hit the hardest , and the middle classes usually get some lucrative sweetner. It doesn't affect the rich as they just avoid any taxes all together either with creative accounting , or being 'non -domicile'.
MikeCFC 45
Naturally Greg. It's common that most upperclass folk don't pay much taxes as they live offshore or in non-ferral parts of Britain like we have to put up with. In other words they're totally out of touch with reality. Anyways, the fuel hike will NOT stop mother's with their 4x4's and Space Cruisers doing the daily school run. The price hike in alcohol will NOT curb binge drinking as 4p increase in a pint only means that my weekend binge of 10 pints (eg) will only cost me an extra 40p.Big fucking deal. It will NOT curb underage drinking,it will only increase the statictics in shoplifting among underage and legal age drinkers who don't intend paying for their booze, thus increasing crime. Who are they trying to fool?
misschief 24
The smoker forced to pay more.I always thought that smoking was a cure to relieve stress No, thats a total myth. But a good excuse for smokers to keep doing it anyway. Anyways, the fuel hike will NOT stop mother's with their 4x4's and Space Cruisers doing the daily school run. Who are they trying to fool? Spot on there. The 4x4 army won't even bat their heavily made up eyelashes. Although they'll no doubt have to increase their little darlings' pocket money for the weekend alcopops. The thing that really bothers me about all this though is the extra money never seems to be ploughed back into the appropriate areas. So where does it all go? because you can bet your arse we'll still have the same NHS cutbacks to deal with in the next financial year. That is the sickest thing of it all, Fucking vouchers for £10,000 Kitchens, etc. Its worse than pathetic. Labour MP Austin Mitchell (Grimsby) tried to defend it on talkSPORT the other day by stating that "Not every MP had taken up this option", Och well, thats not so bad then eh? Laylabelle 9,536
The funny thing is they dont need to tax people to stop them driving or whatever to save the enviroment to get them using public transport. They need to lower the prices of trains and buses instead of rising them and wandering why people dont use them and sort out the whole underground lol. Tax aint gana stop people. Edited March 16, 2008 by Laylabelle

New Labour MP,Ed 'wanker' Balls had the gaul to mutter under his breath,in the commons "so what" when a backbencher said that the average working class person is paying more tax than ever. This is a man,who with his wife Yvette, who's also a New Labour MP,generate a joint income of over £170.000 a year. So what, indeed. Talk about kicking a person when they're down

Elliott 7
I'm not even angry at this stuff. The blood of government is pure corruption.
