Bir_CFC 3,455
Shoulda brought in Odemwingie as our back up striker as part of the deal. Oh well, i'm sure we'll get someone. I also don't believe Romelu will make it here but hope i'm wrong. £18m tho... that was too much.It wasn't 18M. 12M + performance add-ons. The Skipper 20,609
If I'm not incorrect, don't WBA use two strikers? I think Romelu has a genuine chance to claim a place up front. The competition is good in a way too, it'll keep him on his toes. I also think they'll sell off one of their strikers still, so he'll be fine. Perfect environment for him to thrive in. The Skipper 20,609
It wasn't 18M. 12M + performance add-ons.And most Belgian journalists were reporting it in euros too. So basically £9.5m rising to £14.5m!
5354 204
GoshhhWith Peter Odemwingie, Shane Long and Markus Rosenberg already at the Hawthorns...Not sure if Steve Clark gonna favor Lukaku over them. I got a feeling Lukaku gonna become some impact sub.
Ankit 3,176
"I guess it'll be Long/Lukaku and Rosenberg fighting it out for the main central striker role, with Odemwingie, Fortune, El Ghannassy, Brunt, Gera (Jesus, am i missing anyone?! ) fighting it out for the wider striker/winger role."- From the West Brom Forum. gary gordon 1,777
I really wish his experience turns out to be a positive. To be honest, i don't rate him at all.. Way to big and clumsy for the top flight. Needs to trim down and get his speed up before he will be considered for any team..
