I don't know much about rugby but I do know that the Roosters are second only to Manly in terms of most hated sporting team, and that hatred goes beyond just rugby. I'm sure any English team that played the Roosters/Manly would be cheered on. In fact Sydneysiders would probably support the Uruguayan national football team rather than ever support Manly.
