Eden Hazard

Just dont do the same mistake as we did with Robben. Thats all Im saying. Its easy to say sell him when he plays bad, but everyone saw how good the kid can be.

I rather watch another season of shit Eden and then he turns it around and gives us few top years of football than selling him and watch him boss in another league like Robben.

And people saying he did nothing in big european games yet, well Robben was flopping in many games too until he became key to bayern success in europe. Eden simply has too much talent to not boss europe at one point. For all I care if its in his late 20s. If the rest of team showed up and the coach, we wouldnt be a mess now regardless of Eden. Tibo, defence bar Azpi, midfield, attack bar Costa and Willian all suck big time this season compared to the status.

Everyone shitting on Eden to be dropped and sold, because he is not winning us games, why are tibo and cesc thread different. Both are world class. Both dont perform well this season and both cost us games too. Yet there is not massive outrage on their thread looking for their head like here. Hazard is key player, but so is  Costa, Cesc, Tibo, Matic. Only Costa does his job and even he got fair share of criticism.

Did Cescy show his super vision tonight? No? Well he didnt do hid job. Or Tibo? Its not only Eden fault. Its collective fault. Whole team needs kick in ass. Will selling Eden suddenly solve problems? We will have 60/80m and our board wont be smart enough to bring proper replacement. Now we have to get the team together and start working for next season. Eden and co brought us PL title. You dont just throw such players out of club.

Robben came into his own very late into his career. He flopped at Madrid and only really started to show his real quality at 30 yrs old. We were right to sell him I just wish we got more for him.

This may be the only season to get capital return for Eden. I have no doubt if he goes to real he will find his form again mainly because he won't have to be the man. He's a cog not a spark plug.

I'm a firm believer that your best player has to also be your hardest working and for whatever reason hazard just lacks the characteristics to lead. We need to sell him and build around a player who isn't afraid to shine when the bright lights are on.

Pogba for me.

You never know but if we kept Robben IMO we would have one more CL title at least.

And dude was pretty good in that Real side' basicaly he was dragging them last season and they still sold him to Bayern where he truly exploded.

But unlike you, if I could turn back time I would not sell him. He might be late blummer (depends how you look) but his form was so good it would be worth a wait.

The crazy part is that when we sold Robben, we were still playing CL football. Now it'll be tough to get a proper replacement.

Even for a player like Maherz, why would he give up playing in the CL to help struggling Chelsea? I understand Conte can convince some players to join him, but with someone like Hazard, it's a huge risk to just give up on him after a clusterfuck of a season where almost everyone fucked up.

Because regardless of what the media tell you most players value big wages over champions league success.

To each his own. He seemed to always be injured in his time at Chelsea. I loved him as a player but maybe England wasn't the league he could excel in due to the physicality? There are more to a player's success and failure then just perseverance. Sometimes you need to find a league or a team that suits your style.

I bet most players value what Chelsea fans tell them to do on an online forum as well.

Haha, yeah he flopped alright.

He was the best player in their squad before Ronaldo joined (RM fans will tell you that), and technically was forced out after they signed Ronaldo and Kaka, they clearly wanted him as a squad player at most. It happened with Sneijder as well, who was more outspoken about his situation with Real after leaving. They just have the habit of selling and buying more frequently than other teams. Maybe you should support them. :)

Its easy that after Robben won 2013 UCL with Bayern. Robben left Chelsea in 2007 because we had a croweded squad. Ballack, Essien, Lampard and Makelele were making the mid and in Robben's position Joe Cole was the player of that season. Robben wasn't essential back them and he wasn't getting enough playing time. He was decent for Real, but that Real side was pretty average, just think that the likes of Huntelaar were playing for that team. H really flourished at Bayern, but before 2013 there were many questiona about his status as a great footballer, since he was known as a player that could not decide big games. Back in 2007 selling Robben was far from a mistake, and If he wasn't missing penalties in semi final against Liverpool, perhaps we would have one more CL.

About Hazard, its different, he is getting enough playing time and the squad is limited, and he doesn't want to play here anymore. There is no reason why you should keep a player under those circunstances, specially when PSG is willing to break the bank.

Flop is probably too strong a word, lets just say he wasn't exactly the type of player you build a team around.

We all wish for and want him to stay but I feel his mind has been made up. There's just no way to explain how a player who was unplayable for much of last season can just fall off of a cliff the next unless his heart and mind simply aren't in it any longer.

It'll be infuriating if next season we see him back and better than ever for a new club after being a disgrace this season and being arguably the primary reason Chelsea will be without CL football for at least a year.

One player doesn't determine whether we qualify for the Champions League or not. We've got far bigger issues in this squad than just Hazard. People who are keen to blame him, are just desperate for a scapegoat, desperate to confirm their paranoia with him.

If he gets credited with winning us the title last year then sure his no goals in any prem games this year is reason to place some of the blame for this season at his feet as well? You can't credit him when things are going well and shield him when when they aren't.

Placing SOME of the blame for the mess we're in is fine. But placing ALL? Oh no no. That's an absolute nonsense thing to do!
