I think we should come to Lile (probably in the summer) with a 50 milions offer for Hazard+Sow. That would be the best deal in the market imo.

Two kind of players that we need so much, young (well Sow is 25), and players who wants to make the next step in their careers.

Just think of a lineup with those two, Mata, Sturridge, Ramires and Essien... champions again maybe? well ill keep dreaming..

Why do we insist on deluding ourselves that the solutions to all our problems lie in one place?

He may be a great player that is destined for greatness, and sure it would unbelievably awesome if we managed to sign him, BUT (and that is a very big butt ) he will not solve all of our problems and turn us back into one of the most feared teams in Europe, nor is he the only great signing for this club.

We did this with modric in the summer, and now, once again, we are turning Hazard into the chosen one so we could all blame the club and manager for not winning the league when we don't sign him in Jan.

To sum up: Hazard is a great player, but he is not our lord and savior.

Is anyone saying he's our lord and saviour??? I really don't think so. But he's a great talent. He's young and he's hungry. Sure there are other players available too but he's obviously going to leave Lille and they've said that if someone is willing to pay 25m or so then they'd accept the offer.

Not literally obviously, but that is what many fans are acting like. Saying that he is the perfect signing for us, and that if we don't get Hazard in Jan we won't make the CL....I don't mean people on this forum, but Chelsea fans in general.

I was expressing general frustration, not directed at any one in particular.
