But Hazard is not your average player who doesn't care about competition, is he? What would he gain by going back to Ligue 1? He's already achieved everything he could there and if he wants to become one of the best in the world, the French league is not the place to achieve that.

Are those players I mentioned average? I think we both have a different idea about Hazard's size as a player.

Depending on how long the appeal goes for they still may be able to buy players in the summer like what Barca did. Hope FIFA don't give them an extended time because if that is the case they will do exactly what Barca did and go buy players in the summer. A mockery but would not be surprised with that at all.

So I do think that is the bad news. The appeals will go deliberately dragged on to allow Real to register players in the summer before they concede and accept the punishment.

One thing for sure is they will spend heavily now. Ronaldo is declining and they need more fresh blood in that team.

The flipside to this is the Euros. If you're right they will have to conduct their business whilst the tournament is still going, not the best time to seal deals.

Real won't buy Hazard this month. They still have Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema, James and Isco. Why would they pay out a ton of money for Hazard now while the others are still playing for them with no rumours of any leaving in this window. With Ronaldo, Bale and James there's not a chance Hazard will get near the team tbh.

There is no chance of Hazard leaving this month. We won't allow it. But summer is the biggest thing and if they appeal they will likely get the summer to buy players like Barca did. And then Ronaldo might make the move to PSG. He has scored goals but it is clear he is declining and imo Real will be better of without him as he is not a team player.

Hazard just got a new contract for 200k a week in February of last year didnt he? You guys are right he would cost 100m plus to secure. I think he stays at Chelsea and finishes strong this year and into the Euros before coming back on top form next season. He doesn't need to go to Real. PSG a strong possibility, they are a couple of players away from being really really good and Hazard could give them a boost towards the Champions League. Money not an issue there either.

Don't understand why people believe he is TOPTB. We have many members here that shared TOPTB views, he was only open minded about his views. Only need to go to Mourinho thread and you will find that during portuguese's decadence, there were some posts with "people from SW9 vs a bunch of foreigners in a forum" argument. Actually no one knows what Ossie is about, since all of his posts (I really mean it) were about being frustrated with Mourinho getting sacked.
