chrismada9 1,948
I doubt even 'anyone' let alone just us would be able to sign Hazard in January!
Hd123 5
Why would we shift Sturridge to central striker when he getting a goal a game at rw. If it ain't broken don't fix it.

If it ain't broken don't fix it.Fair point, Sturridge is the reason why Torres should be playing because his pace down the right can allow Torres to get into the box and get on the end of his crosses, but the trouble with Torres, is that he plays too wide, and he gets tackled too easily... with that said, Sturridge needs to be playing as a winger. Sure he can't make Xavi like passes, but he frequently beats his man and puts a decent ball into the box. With time he will become even better at it and will be unplayable. Hd123 5
So your argument is, he doesnt make Xavi like passes?Uh, no? My point was that he's a decent passer but his real danger aside from goalscoring is beating his man and putting he ball into the box. Kieran. 6,317
Sturridge will not be our long-term RW.
LDN Blue 7,903
Sturridge will not be our long-term RW.I think he will, from all of André's interviews, he definitely sees him making that position Sturridge's.

nadavTKL 1,787
Sturridge will not be our long-term RW.Why not? i realy think he's becoming our best player, and in the last few games he was. In the Summer Boas talked aboutSturridge as he's replacment for Hulk, he's player from Porto. I thought its a bit too much for Sturridge, but right nowhe realy is one of the best attackers in the PL. And finaly Its not only us who thinks he's that great. Im realy happy tosee him impoving every game, adding more to his game every week. If somone like Hazard is coming, Sturridge doesnthave to move from this positon, not at all. What would you say about:Sturrige Mata Harard--------Stirker----------With Essien and Rami in the back i dont think the likes of City, Real Marid, will have a better formation. Kieran. 6,317
Or we can get a world-class RW and move Sturridge to his favored CF position...don't see why that is so unpopular here.

If we shift him to central striker and he fails to replicate the same form as he did so far, I will be blaming you

The way I see it, Danny's speed is his best asset and the wing the place to take full advantage of it. He has already shown that there are very few fullbacks that can stop him. BlueLion. 21,491
Danny's physique is more suited to the wing than as a centre-forward.
rantdeville 195
Is he a realistic target? Or are we all going into FIFA-mode again? It looks like Cahill is the most certain bet, with one or two coming from a large pool of potential "targets"-->pato, Higuian n tiote, populating that list. Some would say neymar fits in that list but something tells me that's not happening.
Tomo 21,751
Danny is best on the right wing.He infact plays better on the wing than the "natural" English wingers Young, Downing and co do.

It didn't make sense because we'd just signed Mata, but that's what the papers said.
magic weeds 446
and now the papers say we have been scouting him recently. but he is only a second option if we fail with Rodwell. You gotta ask yourself, who is stupid here: the club or the papers?
