The Tottenham thread is the worst of them all, even worse than RAWK; especially when you consider the first 30 or so posts were before Spurs finished 4th.

I see I forgot to send a link for that, here it is:

I even know a QPR fan who wants us to win! :o

QPR are irrelevant. I wanted to talk about the major clubs and clubs we've fucked over on our way to the Final.

So cynical. Anyone who thinks City will dominate football for millenia needs only to look as far as The Greatest Team of All TimeTM to see an example of a team that was supposed to dominate football perpetually because of Messi and a fantastic youth set-up.

It's not right to hate a club just because they're challenging you for trophies or will hypothetically relegate Chelsea to runner up status. For me, I will never hate another club unless I disagree with their culture entirely, or if they show fierce, prolonged hatred for us.

I can actually tolerate the Arse, as I know a few lads at school who actually speak sense compared to the Manure & Liverfool supporters in my school. Manure are the worst here, most can't even name TEN FUCKING LEGENDS, and said "chelshit got lucky against Barca hurr durr" when I know for a fact they would have TRIED to do the same but failed, and besides... we beat Barca, who beat Manure... so who's better? SUCK IT, MANURE!

Never met a Man Shitty fan, so my opinion is pretty much nonexistant.

Spuds are okay I guess. My dad is a Spud... comes up with some strange opinions but is tolerable (i guess.. lol) and an old friend is one too.

Liverfools are just idiots who feed off their history. Don't care if you've won a bunch of titles FIFTY YEARS AGO, i don't give a shit, good for you. We might have a small history but look at our FUTURE. :)

Bit of a joke thread, City are one of the clubs I despise. Literally buying their success. Chelsea were a club with foundation pre Abramovich. This is a fallacious thread. We've lost players like Aguero, SIlva, Toure and probably Hazard because of them and possibly failed in the league due to them. In regards to personal encounters with City fans, I haven't met many, my opinion is instead based on how they have affected Chelsea's success, which is the number one thing.

So you'll hate anyone if they're a barrier to our progress? And you'll hate anyone for factors out of their control? City fans did not fly over to Abu Dhabi, pull down the Sheikh's trousers and give him a blowjob to get him to buy the club. He bought it as an investment vehicle and/or so he can go to his billionaire mates and say "I own a football club, beat that". Hatred for City for this reason is as irrational as hatred for Chelsea for Roman buying us and catapulting us onto the world stage. We had no foundation before Abramovich, we were on the verge of liquidation and doing a Leeds.

Also, like fuck Hazard would ever have signed for us. He would have chosen United if City were still mid table. We lost Aguero, Silva, Toure etc. because of management inertia. We didn't swoop in for them when we should have. We weren't in competition with City when they made their bids for them, we had Andre 'I must assess the squad' Villas-Boas and Carlo 'no spine' Ancelotti in charge when those signings happened. Finally, we had no chance in the league this season. No chance. City and United finished level on points. We would have still come 5th behind a massive gap to 1st. Your competitiveness argument will make sense when we go into the final day level on points at the top with City, or when we are genuinely making a bid to sign a player that City too are interested in.

Well yes to a certain degree. Why do we hate United and Liverpool? It isn't a london derby is it. It's because they've technically been barriers to our success (More so Man U) and Liverpool fans exacerbate my hate, but aren't the primary cause. I hate Utd but City's success is just as bad if not worse because of how they achieved it. Their success was borne out of a sheer monetary injection. You started this thread out of a likening to City fans comments. You should therefore rename this title to 'We don't hate Man City fans'. Personally I don't hate some QPR fans because most I know are top guys, but that doesn't mean I don't hate the club.

and so is ours.

we wouldn't have the success we've had so far without abramovich's money. drogba, cech, mourinho, etc. wouldn't be here or was here without abramovich's money. i do believe that terry and lampard would've gone off to a more successful club ages ago without abramovich, too.

No our success was catalysed. They were losing 8-1 to Middlesbrough and unlike us, have been relegated.

what?

that's hair splitting.

you think we are capable of acquiring mourinho, drogba, essien, etc. without abramovich?

or getting lampard and terry to stay with us?

I'm not denying it helped. I said it catalysed us which it did. Your missing the point. Man City were fighting relegation and now just won a premier league. Prior to Abramovich coming we were in a Champions League semi-final and were 2nd in the league that year, with City being in the bottom five I think - go and check if you want. The money took us the next level where as it completely transformed City. Unfortunately everything takes a backseat to a paycheck and they are living proof that you can buy a league.
