You all forget that the only reason for this loan was to free up a roster spot for Modric, who in the end wasn't bought due to the incompetence of the Chelsea board. If they managed to sign Modric, nobody of you would be complaing about the Benayoun move now.

yes, but they didn´t manage to sign Luka.

As I already stated, "due to the incompetence of the Chelsea board". It was a stupid gamble the board was willing to try, even if meant a decent squad player would go and Modric wouldn't be bought, as it happened in the end.

End of the story -> people complaining about it, even though the majority of them was fine when they had realised the spot was reserved for Modric.

I very much agree with Choulou. He's not someone that would've solved our problems at all, he's just another Meireles, a good squad player at best. Had we loaned out Raul we'd probably see the same article with his name inserted lol.

That being said it was the cardinal sin to loan him out to a direct top4 rival!

Loaning him out was stupidity personified, for the amount of games we've had and such little creativity in the midfield, we needed him in this run. He may not be the youngest but he still has legs and good ability and knows how to pick out a pass. It was a ridiculous thing to do giving him to any club but Arsenal! well....

Btw "the one that GO away"? He sure did.

The fact we have loaned him highlights the supreme idiocy of our board.

On the one hand, it proves our board men are nuts because they offload him, thinking Modric deal was wrapped up.

And on the other hand, they loaned him to our direct rivals for the top four.

This is stupidity at its highest.

That being said, Benayoun would have change nothing.

BUT we didn't get Modric and were told often enough by Levy that he was coming to us ....so

who chose to loan out Benayoum??? AVB or Marissa???

And that shows that the Chelsea board is being run by idiots. They probably thought the deal would be sealed if they offered 5 more millions. Ind in the end they had nothing to show.
