BlueLion. 21,491
TC coaching team ftw! I wouldn't say no, then we can get Rijkaard in during the summer. Grant's a cunt. Edited February 27, 2008 by BlueLion
Gianfranco_Z 202
Off the top of my head, Scolari, Hiddink are the two top managers that would be free, post Euro 08 Hiddink is a good shout, Him and Abramovich get on well I think due to the Russia manager post etc... PaulHopkins 1
I'm not so sure we should be speculating yet as Grant hasn't been given a chance. We can't keep chopping and changing managers as the likes of Newcastle do. I'd say we look at the situation at the end of the season - if we win sod all then questions should be asked but not yet. You are taking the piss surely? Just why should we give Grant a chance?, what did he do to merit the job in the first place? Fuck that
EskWeston 696
I would doubt anything will happen till the end of the season now anyway...... Roman will have to take a good long hard look and decide if he honestly believes Grant is good enough!!! The fans have made their descision. Fulham Broadway 17,363
He should have done that a few months ago. Hes more interested in Dasha Zhokova taking him for a ride than Grant.

Fuck that Whether we like it or not Grant has been given the position and if he does a good job then I'd be more than happy with him staying on in the long term. He did lead the skeleton team on a great run but I guess he didn't really have to make any decisions. Since the return of our players his team selections have been poor. But give him time I guess. West Ham away is a tough game but we should be winning these tough games. So far he has failed in every one of our tough games bar Liverpool in the Carling Cup. Brilliant. He has failed in his team selections recently I agree - Liverpool and Portsmouth were must win games. Olympiacos was simply strange and Tottenham was shite. I still have faith that he can turn it around so I feel we should stick with him - however should we not beat West Ham and lose to Olympiacos then I'm with you all for calling for his head. tlax25 0
Why should Grant be given a chance? What has he done in his career to merit one? Coached a couple of Israeli sides to Championships? Big deal. What other club, who claims to be world class, would ever select Grant to manage their team? The Mancs? The Arse? Liverpool? Milan? Real? Never. And Roman promising another 100 million pounds for transfers means nothing when no one of quality is going to want to come to play for Grant. Hell, I think we will be lucky to retain some the current stars on our team in the off season, like Essien, Ballack, Cech, RC and a few others. It is time Grant either leave the club, or move back to his Director of Football position where he can sit with his buddy Roman in the Directors box and not do anything to hurt the team. I think our club, with Grant in charge, are in real danger of falling apart and completely losing the winning ways that JM had instilled in the club the last couple of years. Was it pretty football under JM? No. But we did win and that counts for a lot. We need a top class manager and soon.

ChrisGnu 0
His record so far hasn't been too bad, but as its been pointed out he's failed to motivate the team for big games, although I can see him staying and bringing you glory next year, I wouldnt be too suprised if he was replaced, no idea who by though!
