I remember the day in my youth when I decided what side I would support till I die. I remember saying "I fucking hate United and all of their money, I'll support a proper protestant side with proper working class blue collar people just like me." And here I am 15 years later now supporting the most hated club (not only in the League) in the world. But not becuase we're "flash cockney bastards" but becuase we buy all the worlds international captains.

What if Roman never came and we never had the money and we were in Leeds position down in league 1. What if we never won the title back to back? How many of you would even be on this site? Be truthful . . . . .how many of you out there will fall off when Roman leaves? How many of you are going to jump boat when QPR becomes top flight becuase they have all the funds now?

I don't just want Grant gone but . . . . .Roman, Bruce . . . . . . .hello???? do you listen to the people who pay the wages? . . . . . the people want their club back.

I long for the day when the stands are full of people who say they are "Chelsea" instead of saying "I'm a fan of Chelsea".

There are some people on here that have been supporting Chelsea before you were born.

And for the record, had of we went the same way as Leeds, which very nearly happened,i would still be supporting Chelsea and going to games, just like i always have been.

I do agree with your last sentence though.

Not sure why anyone would reply like this, not like I was calling anyone out on thier tit. If you took offence to my words then they were either about you or you just misunderstood my point. I'm not questioning anyones love or loyalty whatsoever, it's not my place. Shit, I don't care if you became Chelsea after the mobster bought out our club. As long as your intentions are honorable then you can have a pint with me.

Did I enjoy the title during our century mark . . . .of course. Would I have been found in my cruiser everymatch watching if we were fighting relegation that year instead? Fuck yes. . . . . . . . what else am I to do? I call Fulham and Broadway my home.

Sorry Chicago but of course you were questioning people's loyalty. You were suggesting they wouldn't be here if we took a nose dive, so that's exactly what you were doing.

I'd be here though. I certainly wouldn't be supporting anyone else.

Manpe: If you think Liverpool are hitting rock bottom you have no clue. Just the wrong phrase for sure. We could be doing far far worse and some people have forgotten that.

Expressing ones self is a difficult art sometimes. No disrespect to any Chelsea intended whatsoever. Just think we would be better of without the funds.

Just having a look back at when Grant was ''parked'' at Pompey as Gaydemarks favour to Abramovich, and then later transferred from Pompey as 'Chief Cone Putter Outer' to ''Chelsea FC Technical Director'' on an £800 000 salary.

Mourinho said;

Its not my job to speak about him or about what he has to do at the club . The club statement was clear. Hes here to try to give some support to different areas in the club and, for me, thats not a problem. If the club wants to bring people in to make the club better, to create a job for someone, to give support to different areas of the club, thats no problem. From my point of view, it wont interfere with the power I have in relation to my job. I welcome him, Ill try to help him adapt to a club like Chelsea.

Mourinhos barbed comment ''to create a job for someone'' :) -he knew it was a made up post. The cuckoo slowly edging Mourinho out of the nest.

Chelsea forum comment ''So, for the time being at least, let´s do invite the devil in for nice cup of tea maybe even give him a biscuit as well?''

The writing was on the wall, all he had to do was take over the steering wheel, with no or very little tactical knowledge after Mourinho helped him settle in.

The writing sure was on the wall then and you sense Jose knew it sadly.

That barbed comment was so Mourinho, telling you how he felt but semi disguising it at the same time.

Miss him and he'll always have a place in my affections for what he did for this club and the sheer passion and vitality he showed whilst doing it.

Wont miss Grant when he finally does go and I don't care how much the bast**d may win with us.

And now he's being 'controversial' with the media. Isn't that the main reason Mourinho was bombed out ? Hopefully his days are numbered.

I bet he doesnt get a managerial job when he leaves. The dour faced toad would have to go to Man Utd or Barca to sit there and get adequate results.

Anywhere else and he'll be found out for what he is immediately.

Last night again showed his tactical knowledge is zero! A better side would have got a drawer out that game but everton had nothing to offer. Waited too long when we were under pressure to make a change to bring it back in our favour!

We really cannot afford to give this twat another season...

Your last paragraph here is completely different to what you first said. I'm afraid yes you were questioning supporters loyalty without discrimination, without knowing anything about the people on this forum. I'm 29 years old and have been Chelsea all my life, went to my first game when I was 4 with my uncle who has been Chelsea all his life and my dad who also has been Chelsea all his life.

Of course there would still be supporters watching Chelsea if were relegation threatened instead of winning the title and some wouldn't, thats just stating the obvious. Its irrational to lash out over plastic supporters as every successful team has them, its the price of success and I'm not concerned with what they do because I know that I have supported Chelsea through relegation and top flight mid table mediocrity and would again.

The one thing I will say is that this feeling that you have about rather going back to those days is because you probably don't feel connected with the club the way you used to same as me and everyone else who supported the club pre Roman days. The reason for this loss of connection is because we don't nurture our own talent through the ranks and get success through them, we buy it in. Thats the part that has to change we must start getting some more youngsters coming through the club from the bottom who know what Chelsea is about and who feel a strong connection with the club themselves and the sup[porters will connect with them and feel like its their club again.

Glad you've come round to that way of thinking. The longer he stays the greater the waste of talent and disjointed performances.

As a supporters group we should sue the fucker for misappropriation of funds.

If we gave him another season we would get into the Wenger situation, having pretty good season and always competing but never really achieving anything. Because at the key times he cannot deal with what needs to be done.

Really unfair to compare Wenger with Grant. :) Grant can only be compared with the creepy caretaker in Scooby Doo.

If Grant is here next season with his £100 m to spend, less real Chelsea fans will be going. My nephew is not renewing his season ticket (£855) as it is.

And he won't be the only one, problem is that there will be just as many people willing to snap them up in their place. The club can be under no illusions as to how the fans feel now, they would look at fans websites and discussions to guage opinion. Which is why i find it hard to believe he will still be here next season

What we dont want is some figurehead like we have now.

We're hanging on to that winning mentality that Mourinho instilled in the players. That will fade unless the hollow charlatan is removed and replaced with someone they respect, and wins the fans over.

Sometimes you find a fit that is so perfect that nothing in comparison will feel like it is suposed to. Jose could have stayed and established a dynasty at CFC. Only time will remove him from our thoughts and until then we will be hard pressed to get the same feel from anyone.

Wish he would have at least jumped on the England gig.
