What should happen is either a Premier League loan or even have him on the bench for the first team. But knowing Chelsea, what will likely happen is that he'll be sent out again on loan to the Championship for a year or two and stagnate from there on. You stick him on and he gives you a goal. I don't want to get carried away because it's obviously still extremely early, but he seems to have a mental toughness about him and that can only be a good thing.
