Special Juan 28,141
If Boro go up he will sign. It all played out well last night as Karanka left him on the bench with Sunday against Arsenal in mind.
Madmax 9,219
He needs a PL loan next year, maybe even 2 years where he will be regular before even considering him coming here to sit on the bench because if hes gonna be on the bench he will eventually get minutes and to stay here he needs to make an impact of some sort. If ... eventually ... nah, that's bollocks. He's performed very well wherever he's been sent, he's high on confidence and champing at the bit to do it with us. Now it's up to the club to trust either him or a 37 y.o to do a job next season. There's only so many loans that work out due to the vagaries the system is susceptible to. He could very well go out on loan to another club, find himself in a Josh at Swansea or a Baker at Wednesday situation, suffer from loss of confidence/form/enthusiasm/all three and immediately the talk will shift to how he never was that good anyway etc ... until another 'prospect' comes along and the circus continues ad infinitum. Special Juan 28,141
Took his goal brilliantly as expected. Both him and Omeruo had good games.
Magic Lamps 11,692
Don't get why they make him play on the wing all the time when their strikers are not even half as prolific as him.

They have a good chance of promotion.

Special Juan 28,141
Cut a frustrating figure last night and was played centrally like he wanted to be. He was marshaled well by David Wheater and whilst trying his best he just had a very average night, missing a really good chance too. Spoke to him after the game and he was just annoyed he didn't take his chances. He was replaced by Kike in the latter stages of the game. Jase 43,479
Scored one and assisted another in Boro's 3-0 win over Millwall tonight. Boro now top of the table.
Special Juan 28,141
He was brilliant last night, his goal was superb. He was poor against Bolton and he knew it himself, he really made up for it last night.Well done Paddy.
Oscar 441
loan to epl club will be the goal next season, where he can be a starter.
Unionjack 7,531
Hes at the age where he needs to make an impression. And we all know that unless the teams manager likes the look of him and they get on hes not going to make it in the 1st team. Hes got a good scoring average this year and last and with some more games could be a 20 goals player. A year in the premiership with Boro will do him no harm at all but I hope our management is keeping in touch with him and keeping him thinking about us in his future. But yes it will do him good another year with Boro in the premiership. If Boro go up he will either sign for them or remain on loan, if they don't go up he comes to the PL anyway.Cards on the table from me.....Boro go up and he signs for them. Thendo 1,088
Can't see what benefit we would get from selling him to Boro if they get promoted. He's still young and has been improving every season, sure he might need a pl loan before joining the first team (altough I woulnd't mind having him here as 2nd/3rd striker next season), but we shouldn't have to be in a rush to sell him. We will need more English/homegrown players in the future and he could become very valuable in that aspect aswell.

PB has already said he doesn't want to be a bench player and that he just wants to play football. Can't argue with that really, he's a regular at Boro, scoring goals and actually loves living in Yarm. All the ingredients are there for the lad, he's a great talent, and with the cash boost Boro would get for promotion, plus the backing of Steve Gibson, this move isn't as far fetched as some think.
