Clevemayer 764
De Bruyne plays on the right, doesn't he? Kakuta on the left and De Bruyne on the right would be fantastic.yappkakuta can play as supporting striker, behind the strikers in the offensive midfield, on both midfield sides LM/RM and he can play on both wings... so he can nearly all offensive positions despite striker...but when is de bruyne to be unveiled.... really looking forward to see him perform on the pitch... DYC. 7,542
De Bruyne plays on the right, doesn't he? Left but his natural position is AM (doesn't have the pace to make it as a winger at top level I think, unless he's the new Figo). Don't know if this has been posted before: Intentional, Brilliant. But I'm confused, does it look like he's joining us or not?

chrismada9 1,948
We will know in a few days.I sincerely hope so! This kid has fantastic potential, and I hope we don't loan him out to Anderlecht either!!
BlueLion. 21,491
I want to sign this kid more than Modric for some reason, I just think his youthful potential could make him such an exciting prospect.
lionsden 4,689
AVB sign this wonderkid will you. It seems we've lost interest in signing him, that would be a real shame
Sheva. 5,373
Chelsea are still understood to be keen on making a double swoop on Genk, as talks over midfielder Kevin de Bruyne also continue. The Blues had hoped to send De Bruyne back on loan to Belgium, but to Genk's rivals Anderlecht, which would also have helped their continued pursuit of Romelu Lukaku. However, Genk have insisted they will not allow De Bruyne to be loaned to any other Belgian club should he be soldhttp://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11668_7031787,00.html

We seemed to have him in our sights a month or so ago. Any word if it's because AvB doesn't fancy him?

If he plays for Genk and they don't qualify he is eligible to play for another team like Chelsea for instance.Hope a deal can be made because he is a very interesting prospect with some excellent qualities. SeB 1,281
I hope Chelsea will sign him, he is a great prospect, he can play on the 2 flanks and behind the striker(s). His long balls are excellent, he has a great vision and he is quick, sharp, he can deliver very good through passes.

lionsden 4,689
Blimey just realised he has incredible work rate and tenacity as well. . . I wish I can say the same about majority of our current players.

SeB 1,281
I'm not convinced by Lukaku, too much money for such a young player... It seems like the board searches to replace Drogba with the kid that looks like most in The Drog.I'm not fond of this philosophy, I think players have to break through themselves with their own ability without the club plans to replace such as Drogba, Lampard, Essien with exactly or seemingly the same kind of player. A team builds itself of her even, it's not necessary to force things artifically.Villas Boas works on a game plan using conventional wingers but we haven't any real right winger, Anelka isn't one, neither Kalou... On the left we have Zhirkov. On the right we could have De Bruyne who is able to play at 3 different places, I found this all the more interesting than we seems to be the only big club on him (before City jumps on another club's target...) He has stated previous times that he would love to plays for us, is it so bad to have a player want to play for us because of the love of the club rather then the high amount of wages? And i think the philsophy that the board takes is bring in any players that have been praised by the mdeia or who have a reputation to be a world beater/worl-dlcass player. I think if we want any more down-to-Earth players to the club, it would have to be AVB's reccomendation, rather then the club shooting in the dark.
