A fantastic game. What a comeback from Federer when he was 5-2 down and one fifteen from losing it. Hats off, both guys are extremely likeable and it was kind of unfair one of them had to be on the losing side.

I only make a point of watching Wimbledon every year and that's it as far as tennis is concerned, but every year it leaves we in pure amazement at just how fit and athletic these people are.

Well done Novak, and amazing, amazing achievement.

Well, no words for Federer really. His desire after all those years is absolutely breathtaking. The 4th set was a prime example of that, whoever you are you simply can't do nothing about it when that shows up. Just timeless.

Credit to Djokovic, he was patient, had a clear gameplan and executed it brilliantly (well almost, it's very difficult vs Federer @ Wimbledon). You just have to love this character. Well worth trophy and No.1 place Nole :tiphat:

Bizarre but brilliant day for tennis. It's been nearly 10 years since neither one of Nadal, Federer, Djokovic were finalist in a slam. Those 3 won 34 of the past 38 Grand Slam trophies.

Cilic is the first man from Croatia to get this far at a major since his coach, Goran Ivanisevic, won Wimbledon in 2001.

Japan’s Kei Nishikori, became the first man from Asia to reach a Grand Slam singles final.

Nishikori vs cilic in a GRAND SLAM FINAL. who would have tjought. But i think we may get more of such as fed has already reached the twilight ofbhis career and in a couole of years, so will rafa and djoko.

The rest of the tennis world is pretty much on the same level.

Incredible. How many match points did Murray save? 5? 6? Insane!

It was 5 i think. They played for 3 and a half hours, like a grand slam battle!! He did the exact same thing again to Robredo at Shenzhen Open the week before, hence the middle finger :D

I'm not usually watch Tennis match, but it's a shame Roger injured before the final. There is a conspiracy theory there was something, related to his compatriot Wawrinka.
