BlueLion. 21,491
Tottenham Vs Chelsea Chelsea look set to win their third League Cup trophy in four seasons as they take on Spurs at the first Carling Cup final at Wembley. Chelsea have won the competition four times in their history and twice under José Mourinho, including a thrilling 2-1 victory over Arsenal last campaign and a dramatic 2-3 win against Liverpool in 2005. Chelsea's first victory in this competition was in 1965 when they beat Leicester City 3-2 on aggregate in a two-legged final, making them the first London club to win the competition. They repeated the same success in 1998, beating Middlesbrough 2-0 in the final at Wembley. The team's run to the final this campaign has been an enjoyable won, topped off with a superb 3-1 aggregate win over Everton in the semi-finals. Chelsea first had to overcome Hull City in round 3 in Avram Grant's first win as manager in a 4-0 thrashing of the Championship outfit, whilst Leicester City proved a more difficult obstacle, requiring a Frank Lampard hattrick and an Andrei Shevchenko thunderbolt to win the game. Liverpool were brushed aside 2-0 in the quarter finals by goals from Lampard and Shevchenko once again, making Lampard the tournament's top scorer.Match chat here! EskWeston 696
I think that would be the best team we could put out to be honest, other than i would play A.Cole instead on Bridge!

Luke 60
difficult to see who is he planning on playing up front, as drogba played the full 90 tues night! id personally play Bridge LB, Ferreira RB, Terry + Ricci CB, lamps and essien CM, either maka or mikel holding (i'd prefer maka if fit enough after the full 90 tues) joe cole and SWP attacking, with Anelka up top, bring drogba on in the second half any takers?? BlueLion. 21,491
I won't make excuses although I feel Kalou does operate better on the wing and he seemed to play more centrally last night when he was introduced, though I think everyone was sub-par. Bandicoot 3
Grant dont wanna leave JT & Lampard on the bench, this is a cup final ffs. After last nights pathetic display I would leave Drogba on the bench and go with Anelka up front.

Ryan C™ 0
Although Tottenham fucked us up badly in the semi-final, I hope they win this. I really can't see it, though, as you'll field your full XI. Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham
