Beigl 1,387
I can´t understand why some people wan´t him to leave.Okay,he had few really worse games, but I think he´s a good squad player and is an excellent Back Up.He played really well in both games against Barcelona. Manuf 1,448
He is a box to box midfielder similar to Lampard, they can pass but now well enough to become a passer. So Lampard isn't a good passer? Please tell me how Romeu should start ahead of Mikel
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
Romeu could become a magnificent distributor of the ball, though. We need to see his abilities more.
The Skipper 20,609
I'm still not too convinced about our Oriol, we'll see how he develops next season.
communicate 2,703
So Lampard isn't a good passer? Please tell me how Romeu should start ahead of Mikel Lampard is good passer but not good enough to be considered a passer.
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
Lampard is good passer but not good enough to be considered a passer. That makes no sense. You're contradicting yourself.

The Skipper 20,609
If we sell Raul we definitely need to get another midfielder in.
TorontoChelsea 4,064
If we sell Raul we definitely need to get another midfielder in.Certainly. Somebody who can fill the same role: Be able to play a few positions, be pretty decent at everything, have a good work rate, be OK with being a squad player, etc... KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
I think we should bring in one of Moutinho, Modric, Cabaye or Sahin. Selling Essien as well as Meireles would be prefered but not likely, unfortunately. Actually I'd prefer to keep Meireles over Essien. TorontoChelsea 4,064
Might as well keep Meireles then, no?It depends. If Napoli are willing to pay say 12-15M for him, Chelsea can likely buy a replacement less and therefore make some money in the transaction. If they don't make a big offer, we might as well hold on to him.

CHOULO19 24,332
Meireles avoids transfer talkhttp://www1.skysport...s-transfer-talkIt would be a good move, but Napoli need to step-up their reported 8m.
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
We should try to get them up to 10-12 million but if they don't we should just move Meireles on. I hope we do the same with Essien.
Jase 43,479
It would be a good move, but Napoli need to step-up their reported 8m.Can we really expect more than 8m for him? I mean we only got him for like 12-13m and while his form and performances were good for us last season, don't think Meireles is worth anywhere near 15m. Better half a loaf than no bread. Also, we should get in replacements first IF we are thinking of letting go Essien and/or Meireles.
sleazyB 58
I like Meireles and would like to see him in blue next year but he should move on if we either use him as a bartering chip for Cavani, or we upgrade with a great CM (modric, cabaye, moutinho, etc.) Also i would like a little more than the 8m.
