Judging from this thread, and the fact die hard PES fan CJ Revo has finally converted.

I haven't officially converted to FIFA TX, just because I love the FIFA 12 game, doesn't mean I've lost interest in PES!

When I said, "I can't believe I've neglected FIFA all these years" ... I never said anything about converting to any game! I still love the PES series just as much as I did when I wasn't fond of FIFA

I'm playing BAL as Lampard and the AI manager is stupid as.. actually there is no comparison. David Luiz is often played as a full-back, Essien and Romeu as centre-backs, I (Lampard) am often played as DMF for Chels and for England... Kalou is played more often than Torres. When Mikel and Essien are on the field, Mikel is in more advanced position or I play as DMF. There is no formation flexibility, every single game is the same formation with same instructions. And teammates are complete morons, dribbling against 3-4 players or running out of play (at least it's realistic when Kalou or Malouda do it). Why can't they play as good as the computer does against you in exhibition matches? I've never seen AI being so dumb, yet my teammates are. And every single fucking time my agent tells me to be a pro and look at my development... how about he just STFU

I admit, BAL has been a failure so far imo, they simply can't sort out the details which would make it from playable to being actually good.

Okay I finally get PES2012 and after first 3 matches all I can say is: WOW! This is absolutely fantastic game. ML adventures are going to be brilliant. Great difficulty, great gameplay, great animations, great passes.. thumbs up for KONAMI

Official KONAMI patch made a little difference in gameplay I gotta admit. Now it is not that difficult as it was in demo, but still it is super ultra difficult.

I have played both demos, and the gameplay isn't that much difference to last year's PES. I think I still might buy this game, but only when it starts going cheap. Right now, I'm biding my time until MW3 comes out

It's much more different than demo1 imo, not much different from demo2... but with the first official patch and with PESEdit patch it feels like a different game now from the demos.

I have played 2012 for quite a while now, and my verdict is: this game sucks. Konami have yet once again built up expectations and failed to deliver in the final product. "Club boss" is probably the most pointless and uninteresting game mode I have ever played. And talking about Master League... well, the whole point of a game is to be entertaining not annoying - and that's exactly what it is.

For example, I was sure they'd redo AI's free-kicks in this, but noo, it's exactly the same bullshit it was in 2011... if you foul anywhere in 25 metre radius from goal, it's a 98% chance they will score a goal, 100% that they will get it on target (and a high chance they score from the rebound). If the fk is from the edge of the box, I just put another player on the line and bury my head in my hands, because I know it's equivalent to a penalty. I've lost countless points thanks to this bullshit and it's not easy not to foul in this game, because in this game the referee is a bitch and every single shoulder-to-shoulder nudge is a violation. And that's just one aspect that has stayed crap, I'm too lazy to write about other things... but this one grinds my gears probably the most.

I just got it. I can't win games in the Master League mode. I can't even draw. The difficulty system is just flawed to me. Regular is just too easy while Professional is too hard. I'm stuck in the middle. Then again, I am new to PES. And how the hell do you shoot? The power gauge always goes maximum even if I just tap the shot button.

That's PES for ya... It's the first PES where professional difficulty feels like top player for me, and top player feels like impossible. But first seasons are usually hard in ML, it's always been like that.. it's as if almost the game is programmed to fuck you in the 1st season, but after that you improve.

Shooting is something that comes with time and experience.
