Back to Zolayes' question about Big Clubs and what makes them-Chels are now seen as ''big club'' hence Sneider saying he wants to join Chelsea (please yes!!) and Lukaku seen in a Chelsea shirt driving about.. Young players have only known Chelsea as a CL contender -and a winner apart from Terrys slip

It really doesnt matter that we have fucked up in few overpayments for shit players. Anyway nothing compares to the Fat Spanish waiter in that sphere

THANKS this table is much clearer than the one that briefly appeared in the Facts thread ,,,please remove my reply in that thread ..

I still think the data would be more relevant if it only covered the period 2000 -2010. average nett spends would increase considerably

When you look at it, before 31st Jan this year, we had paid 20 million + for only 5 players. The huge disparity in the ins and outs is down to our sales (bar Robben) not fetching much value. And the fact that we keep our best players and refrain from selling the core of the team.

Mourinho's penchant for a big squad was well known so a lot has been spent on getting the bits-and-parts players as well.
