I find it funny to see ppl praise gotze and reus into the heavens for example but manage to say that the BL is highly overrated.
-
Yeah you are right, still you shouldn't get worked up like that, i don't believe the OP is of the opinion the player is world class already.
-
It's funny how you make a fool of yourself, nowhere in this topic anyone claimed he's worldclass, now get a hold of yourself.
-
Anderlecht claims he's the kid they are most proud of, kids like Tielemans, musonda etc would have made it anywhere because of their natural talent, dendoncker is the kid that always played in the shadow and worked the hardest and really got formed by the academy. And weckerz, since when is good character and hard work not the right formula for a good player?
-
When I've seen him play, his style reminded me of a young matic. Incredible drive forward and quite strong for a young man that age.
-
We need vinnie Jones to come back just for one game to prove a point here.
-
Shit mentality not only in the media, on the pitch aswell, when he's the one screwing up several attacks, he's pointing fingers, he's the one flapping his arms around blaming others. If he would be a team mate of mine, we would have some serious issues.
-
What if he wants to leave barca? Wouldn't that lower the 200m ppl are speculating about? No player is worse than an unhappy player...
-
What if messi Wants to leave? Would it still be 200m? Or would they concider letting him go for 150 or 100? An unhappy player at your club is bad news, even if he's the best on the planet.
-
Well I read stuff about him refusing to sign autographs on a PSV fanday, and generally being an ass towards the fans that day. Also some of his former coaches claim he has a general attitude problem, he's just been getting away with all of it because of his talent. Guess with that kind of mentality you can get through the youth squads but start failing as you start first team football.
-
I think that will be the problem right there, putting his head down.
-
I would second your view if we were talking about an older player, it's just that 20 years is too young to be a 70th-80th minute substitute in every game. The board and lukaku himself made a good decision in the longer run i'd say. About the interviews, why is there never a video footage one of him giving these quotes?
-
You are all taking part in the plan of the english press to try and disable chelsea even before the season starts. Form your opinion on how he'll perform on the pitch for chelsea, not on what's said in a written interview. Problem of the world today, shitty journalism and the disease social media can be.
-
Bad move if you are trying to defend oscar's name
-
Maybe balotelli was the wrong example, didn't mean to say he has that sort of screwed up mentality. Let me put it this way and maybe it's not the best example since i haven't seen many van Ginkel games, but take the Same talent and put it in both van Ginkel and pogba, and i know whom would be mourinho's choice. That's what i meant
-
How... I'll try to put it in words because is have no footage of what I mean.. He tends to let his head hang after he makes an error, a certain arrogance that's part of his game in general, and don't get me wrong, I'm a fan, but let's assume that lampard is THE Mourinho type of player. Mentality wise there's a big difference there. I'm not trying to make an important point here, just my vision on the matter.
-
Last sentence is spot on, read somewhere he was being a Dick against some PSV fans during some sort of a fan day. Not the last mentality issue we've seen around zakkaria, that's what i think.
-
Great player, but as in the same lines as balotelli I see a mentality problem when the two ego's Mourinho/Pogba meet.
-
Would be a great signal towards talented youth players out there to show chelsea is a great club to develop and maybe one day be part of the first team. Atm i don't know why any talented youth player would join the chelsea youth except for the cash and that's the wrong signal imo.
-
I'd give em hell, any team with vinnie Jones in it will do.
-
Think it would mean alot to the hazard brothers to play together, tho I don't think thorgan is on the right level to play for chelsea but if theres a good understanding/connection between the brothers on the pitch, why not?
-
On the aunt having balls part? Or lukaku being the second striker?Edit: skipped a post by accident there nvm that reply.
-
Think he's holding his breath for that incoming, goldeneye, black snake.
-
When does the preseason start? If it's earlier than august, i don't know if cech will make it on a preseason tour.... Would be a good plan tho.
-
I agree on the fact that he still has alot to learn. On the other hand I see people comparing hazard numbers with ronaldo's and Messi's to decide wether there's talent or not, how about comparing lukaku's with theirs?
