  1. but but, he scored the world cup winner
  2. Have to agree, took the easy road instead of pushing himself to the next level by joining a Russian team. It's a rare combination, his amazing defensive capabilities with a more than descent technique, just feel whenever I see him play that i'm watching a slowmotion replay of a game. Nevertheless Mou got the sloppyness out of hazard's game and imo brought Matic to a higher level, Witsel is the same rough diamond. Good signing if he ups his game Bad signing if he continues the way he's at zenit and the NT.
  3. Unless boga is coming along the pre season, it's once more a disencouraging move towards the youth, what are we waiting for in lines of really bringing in some youth instead of buying/dragging mid table players like cuadrado, Moses and salah? Our very own Messi? Could take a few years
  4. would like to see a few of these kids get a shot, see how they perform while "forming" the squad for the upcoming season.
  5. Was thinking he would be joining the tour, don't know when Oscar, Willian and Cuadrado will return to the team so i guess Charly will be training with the big guys until their break is over.
  6. i'm not sure but will Oscar, Willian and Cuadrado be back by then? Might be a great occasion to see Charly in action.
  7. at the end of season 2012-2013 the evolution of praet and massimo Bruno was called the shame of the belgian league, their coach at the time didn't push them enough. As I see it, first team experience or not, musonda is ahead in every aspect but physiciality on praet.
  8. had it with his mentality, atm the belgian press is hearing him out, dude's been claiming he's becoming a complete striker and could play anywhere. Sorry pal your finishing is excellent, but everything else is still a disaster.
  9. Couldn't agree more, all of this shouldn't have been in the media.
  10. That is Indeed a way to break a young guy like that.
  11. Was very good in the Thailand game, as was musonda, the two youth players whom deserved it the most to start today and that's maybe just my opinion, got an unsatisfying 10minutes at the end of the game. I really don't understand how jose's line of thought is on this, there must be things going on in professional football that I just don't have a clue about. And i don't think i'm the only one with this on my mind.
  12. Tbh I watched the game afterwards in bad quality with no sound and I thought this kid was matic having an amazing game One to watch
  13. Made great effort to track back on that right flank, that's usually a football intelligence that comes with age as a flank player Still very RAW tho Showed balls in initiative gotta give him that and I still believe he can be an iniesta type of midfielder.
  14. Good defensively, good crosser when he's playing on the RB(better than Ivan in that aspect) but that's not what we need atm, we just don't have the aerial presence to be threatening that way during non-set pieces.
  15. Missed the first half, would have loved to see both boga and musonda's game to compare them, only saw musonda and it was a reality check for me,that there's still alot of work for him, don't know about boga....
  16. Didn't work the system at all you say? In what way would he not be able to fulfill cesc's role? I fail to see that...
  17. Could perfectly fulfill fabregas' role, until this day I still don't understand why it went wrong for him here. It's the problem of this day, the media spouts all kinds of crap reasons why he left and the flock just assumes it's truth. But the real reason is something only he and mou know I guess....
  18. Atm Reus is a player returning from injury, not to fixate on you alone because many of us share your opinion here but i fail to see why a player struggling to be consistant(missing the world cup/barely any playing time this season) could be of higher value than Willian has been on the right wing this season. Maybe in the long run yes, but not next season, he just won't give us that extra we need. And when we speak in the longer run, there's enough viable options for that in the youth team.
  19. If it's really his words: The way he puts it feels wrong.
  20. That's a lot of pointless speculation on your behalf then, I haven't read or seen anywhere that he's looking for a transfer. So as I said, pointless speculations. That aside, your opinion on the injury prone Reus being the better attacking player of the two is shared by very few, it might be interesting for you to overthink that view since it's not a very commonly shared one.
  21. Yeah let's Allow hazard to leave, an absolute top player, for a recently injury prone, lesser player. No, not in a million years, your line of thought is more suitable for a mid table team not the leader of the premier league.
  22. Can't tell if you are serious, I hope you are not.
  23. True in a role as a creative midfielder, delivering that amount of assists, passing percentage means less and less. You'd want someone in the role of matic to have a high percentage, but 70% for the guy that seems to have a neck to break open defences is something any coach can live with.
  24. Seen him play a couple of games and only saw the second half yesterday, he was great, it's like seeing hazard play. Shame tho he's been having some bad luck with injuries. Also his physical prescence is starting to worry me, with the style he and hazard share, i'd rather see him not bulking up any further than this, imo he appears heavier and slower already than hazard. And that's something a player with that style of play can't have.
  25. Anyone following the game? Wanted to watch it but had to work, how are they playing?
