Counter attacks are the way to go this match. Seriously doubt us getting any forward play with possession football and crosses.

Couldn't comprehend the fact that De Bruyne's role so far this season has been on the reserve bench when he clearly is the superior option than Lamps to play in the pivot. He had been playing that role at Werder and is not alien to such a role. If Mour can make Hazard and Mata to improve their defensive game, it's just a matter of game time for Kevin to improve his defensive game and fostering a good partnership with Rami. Gundogan in the making, that lad.

Imagine if we'd have won. There is a definite tactical inadequacy in the team and hope Mour can solve that. We won't be so lucky next time around.

Preferably a DLP to partner Rami in the pivot who can stay in the centre circle and spray passes left, right and centre and also tackle.

That's the general consensus after that Newcastle match but i disagree as long as Oscar is told to stay in the hole and Mata in the wings. Shurrle provides a more direct classical wing play from one flank and Mata and Oscar can work those passes to break down the opposition on the other side. Our failures lately are never justified by blaming the partnership pf Oscar and Mata.
