I was saying we didn't play the false 9 like the way it should be. Shurrle was moving to the flanks often and never moved deep into mid to receive passes. Never a false 9 set-up. As for the second part, i was reiterating the need for an effecient striker.

I still don't think that was false 9 though; was more like Shurrle taking up the striker role in an unorthodox manner and we did look like a mess up field.And none of our AM can be better target men than any clinical striker like DD, Falcao, Cavani or Lew.

Then we might as well switch to the 4-3-3 false 9 and squeeze one more AM in there.We seems to have plenty.

Badly want to see Azpi start this one. Better option offensively if Jose's planning to run at the right flank with Mata there. Provides better width than Bran and Azpi compliments Mata well. Bran should be rested as he is the automatic choice for the Schalke match.

OK. 3 weeks But they seems to play well against us. Hardest game of the season for me considering the quality of the side (..probably second hardest after the one in Etihad.)

They have better quality in the centre midfield area and we, at this point to time, lack a midfield enforcer to dictate the flow of the game. All the more, we have a misfiring and inefficient firing squad up front. I'm not saying they're better than us, just that they have better quality in the areas we are not so good. But we have our AMs and Mourinho. Not terrified, though. BTW, those results have got nothing to do with the City we have to face.
