The way teams approach games versus West Brom, Everton is completely different from the way they approach games with Chelsea. Lukaku is enjoying a degree of freedom with these teams that he would not enjoy here save for the more open matches against the big teams. That being said he's making the most of his opportunities and deserves a spot at Chelsea come next season.

Midfield absolutely bossed it in the second half. Draw away from home vs Spurs only tastes sour because we certainly could have won the match. Juan Mata is still our best creative player. Hazard is being marked out of matches by numbers, and Oscar at times struggles to make a real incision into the game. Mourinho still has a long way to go to find his optimum squad.

José has certainly lit a spark under him so far this season. What made his performance today was powerful, direct runs at opposition... which is suited to a more open/counter type of match. He still needs to work on his game to be this effective versus teams that sit deep.

I'd rather live with that energy. We need it to come from somewhere as the rest of the squad can be very lethargic with the tempo.

I don't think Torres will start. If Eto'o struggles however I think Mourinho will be much quicker to bring him on as a sub. He certainly helped his cause with his performance against Swindon but he also played the full 90.

He is perfect for the counter attack, he almost always beats the first man for pace and is intelligent enough to pick out the correct pass. People forget that it was his first season with us, typically players blossom in their second seasons with the club... and he's a young player at that! I'm glad Martinez couldn't lure him to Everton.

Zlatan is one of my favorite players, and only seems to be getting better and more clinical with age. He's scored 58 goals in 66 appearances in the past two seasons... he's never hit that rate in earlier seasons. Madrid does make a lot of sense for him. I'm sure he is wanting to make another run at a Champion's League and I'm not sure PSG is that quality yet.

This rumor doesn't make sense with our dealings the past two summers. We've shown in the Hulk saga, the Modric saga, both Falcao sagas, and the Cavani saga that we are not interested in splashing out ridiculous sums of cash for players - nothing more than what we think they are worth. We bid what we think they are worth, maybe a touch more, and that's it. Want more money you are free to go to the Monaco's and Zenit's and PSG of the world. I think the club are trying to set precedent that the days of us being twisted for way more than the player's worth are over.

If the club can get De Rossi I'd be ecstatic with the summers deals at this point!

I think Lukaku's ceiling is higher than Benteke, and as such would rather give him as many minutes as we can manage. Benteke is going to make another team very happy but I don't think his fit is at Chelsea.

Give me De Rossi for £10MM over the both of them!

Rooney fancies himself as a number 10 - come second striker, SAF gave him a go there, and his game suffered for it. If he can get back to basics and stop dropping so deep, I think he can recover the form that made him world class. He is an off the shoulder striker, and needs to understand that. A manager like Mourinho would certainly be able to play him to his strengths and get him to understand this.
