Better yet, sign Rooney, keep Luiz and give Lukaku a shit-load of fames to build his confidence. I would take this 3rd option.
-
And no one is saying we should force him out are we? We are simply saying if he wants to go, we receive a very good offer then HE CAN GO. No one is saying to him gtfo of here.
-
Pique is not as good as Cahill, Terry atm? WOW 28 years old Iniesta is old, shocking. Fabregas is just as good if not better than Mata, Sanchez is better than any of our wingers/attacking players bar Mata and Hazard. I think you are over dramatizing with the ending sentence.
-
You don't have to go for high profile players, these are plenty of players who are cheap and just as good. Look at Vertonghen, he is arguably as good as Luiz going forward and defend better too, save the flashy moments. He costs £10m and now he is probably worth at least £30m. Look at my list above to see.
-
If he does go, these are the candidates to replace him imo that we could get: 1. Diego Godin 2. Fazio 3. Mangala 4. Sakho 5. Chedjou 6. That Greek CB from Schalker who I cba to search his name 7. Howedes 8. Rami All are good CB, all quite young apart from Chedjou and none should cost more than £15-£20m max. Well maybe apart from Mangala who we would need to pay his release clause of £30m seeing it is Porto.

Very good response guys, none of those ''OMG NOO NONOONONONONO DONT SELL HIM'' AND ''HE IS NOT FOR SALE BECAUSE HE IS OUR BEST PLAYER!!!!'' types.
-
It is funny how at Chelsea forums one of our best player want to leave the majority of people will agree to as long as it is his wish and the fee is right while at Arsenal/Liverpool/Spurs when their best players want to leave they just try to deny it at all costs then eventually hopelessly see them go. This is how big our club have become, we don't HAVE TO RELY ON ANY PLAYER ALONE TO CARRY US. Everyone is for sale as long as they don't want to be here and the fee is right, even our very best. That is why over the year we have lost no one important because the player knows we are one of the best, they wouldn't get to another improved team unless it is those 3: Madrid/Barca/Bayern.
-
Why do you want his form in 2010 when his form in 2012 is better and regarding his injury, it wasn't even his fault, remember this? Lukaku only started 5 times, what? He start a lot more than that just from my memory and he wasn't, he played ST every time he came on/in.
-
Yeah but we know he wants to leave and we were gonna raise our bid anyway, it was just a start. Now £30m is rejected and I am sure if Rooney forces it we are gonna come in with a £35m or so bid. There are only 3 clubs he would leave us for probably, they are: Barca, Bayern and Madrid. He seems to suit Barca the most, because they dominate most teams all the time Luiz would have the license to roam forward like he uses to. Same with Bayern but then again I don't know what Pep is planning to do with his team and system.
-
I said if, really think he might do it though if this bid of £35m is true and they are willing to raise it up. He always used to say Barca was interesting and their game suit his which is true. I agree with your price though if we are gonna sold him it must be for that MIN.
-
Well that was awkward LOL the cheek they have to do that even knowing it will be rejected. But then again it is fucking Tancredi so...
-
Lukaku scored quite a few pens last season for them I think, like 5-6. At us he won't get that, Hazard will probably take it and then Lampard is here too. It is not people are not having fate in him, it is that people are putting TOO MUCH RISK ON HIS SHOULDER. It is basically Lukaku or bust with our current strike force because as we know Ba/Torres is useless, this preseason shows nothing have changed with these 2. Lukaku don't deserve to be crushed by pressure, remember when Ronaldo, Rooney...etc start at MU at young age they were also back up, not straight starter as at the time Van Nisterooy, Bekcham was ahead of them.
-
If he hands in a transfer request+ a £45-£50m bid comes in he can/should go. Last time we sold a high profile player it was Robben, Luiz will only be the 2nd. We are one of the best club in the world, whoever doesn't want to stay can go for the right amount, no point saying he is not for sale if he wants to go.
-
For £50m not really.
-
Make it £50m and he can go. He is not priceless guys, he will never be worth more than £50m if we are gonna receive it. Then sign that French CB from Porto for £30m with £20m left to go into Rooney fund.
-
Well Rooney played CM/CAM in most of the games, some time on the wing so obviously he doesn't have the advantage Lukaku had of playing ST all the time.
-
Even so it stills cover a large trunk of his fee, if he bags us £60m in shirt sell and we only getting £10m or so that is still very good. so if he is signed for £40m he wouldn't seem to be overpriced. He is currently worth at least £25m alone base on name and value anyway.
-
Well they refused to pay £55m for Cavani so doubt they would pay that for Suarez who costs the same so it doesn't make any difference to them.
-
If Rooney joined he is guaranteed to start EVERY SINGLE GAME HE WANTS, providing he is fit and on form of course. There is no rotation because then it would be nothing difference from at MU for him. He is only moving here(if he moves) it is to start at ST REGULARLY. He will be untouchable here, partly because he would cost a lot to get and on highest wages out of the entire team. Just like when Torres was signed in 2011, Rooney will start always unless he becomes as crap as Torres was/injured/have a break up with Jose like Casillas. Lukaku would then be back up all the time. Ba will probably be sold/loaned out, same with Torres but I don't think both will go/ maybe only one. Which ever stay will be 3rd choice.
-
True I guess, edited.
-
Yeah I suppose haha.
-
And if he is not we will fuck up again like last season.

http://www.france24.com/en/20130807-billionaire-russian-pulls-plug-anzhi-spending Look like another fall down. This is why FFP should happen.

Rooney a diver what hahahahah, like every top player at least have dived once apart from a few true professional like Lampard/Mata. fuck me we even had Drogba who just showed of his diving(and finishing skill) against Arsenal a few days ago. If you don't want him to come here just because he is a diver then you are deluded. But I don't want him to come here because he is an ungrateful cunt, disrespectful dick. No loyalty to the people stood by him and snubbing Gerrard for no reason just so he could leave.

This is how it is atm, true base on facts and stats, unbiased view: Bale>Mata>Hazard>Cazorla>David Silva>Wilshere>Kevin>Oscar>Nasri>Nani>Valencia>Young This is based on last season only. If it was based on their overall career than obviously Silva would be top and Kevin/Oscar bottom. Don't even try to argue that Bale is not the best out of them all ATM, he scored like 10 goals alone last season that could have been nominated for goal of the season and you don't win PFA if you are not one of the best in the league.
