Look good in preseason, but then again this is possibly his final season with us so he obviously needs to stay clear of injuries or he will be out next summer. Also his contract needs to be negotiated again, surely that matching highest earner clause must be removed. I think he could lead us to a glorious season, providing he doesn't fall out with Jose or getting injured like last year.
-
Maybe not anytime soon, but you should never say never.
-
Then we struggle to finish 3rd/4th again.
-
I think he will start against Hull, it will be either him or Torres but I think Lukaku will be picked.
-
Worrying time for him I think, really think this is his make or break season. He could become like Kevin and come back to us next year or become like Kakuta and go off never to be heard from again. At the moment he is not good enough, just got potential. Doubt he would be able to overtake Mata/Hazard and maybe even Oscar anytime soon, even then we are quite stocked with Schurrle, Kevin and Moses. This is his last chance, fails it and he would not make it here.
-
Because he started out his career as a CAM until Mourinho decided to put him in CDM, that was when his potential died. Now people are thinking we should do the same to Oscar and Kevin, LAUGHABLE.

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8867429/transfer-news-chelseas-david-luiz-quiet-on-barcelona-link Really think he is caught in two minds about this and are making his mind up. I hope he stays but if he go for top money it is fine too.
-
Why on EARTH would you want to keep him IF we sign a better player? Why does he deserves the time to prove himself? He had 6 months and he messed up his only chance, now in preseason he shows no promise what so ever. Yeah patience like Torres, that was some patience... Then we keep him and Lukaku, sell Ba and signs Eto'o/Rooney/Suarez/Martinez or whoever.
-
AFTER SIGNING THEM, one can be sold/loan out. Put Ba up for loan and West Ham/West Brom WOULD DASH IN TO HAVE HIM. ACtually nearly half of the BPL would.
-
This is funny: Fellaini linked to MU, next day injured his heel Bale linked to Madrid, next day injured his foot and have been ever seen that bid was made public Rooney injured all different parts of his body, yet just as fit in training for England David Luiz injured on the day Barca made an official bid for him Suarez injured whatever I don't know after coming out saying he wants to leave What a coincidence and now Fabregas have just been ruled out for a month too but I think he already said he is staying.
-
Because we still have enough space and money to sign a top class striker without needing to offload anyone else.
-
Oh getting rid of Ba is easy, if he was for sale now a host of clubs would line up to take him(small clubs of course) but Torres is move difficult, maybe a loan move to Valencia or something and we pay half of his wages. Oh and Eto'o can still score guys, he done this 3 months ago But I am still against his signing, it is Suarez/Rooney or bust.
-
Obviously why on Earth would he do that after like 3 days saying he wants out? A few words from the manager and owner is not going to change anything unless they are master manipulators which they aren't.
-
Well judging by the amount of goals scored he is in top 20 in Europe last season so he could be considered world class atm.
-
YOU STILL HAVE FATE IN FUCKING FERNANDO TORRES? These preseasons games teach you nothing? Wow Ba is unlikely to score 5 goals next season let alone do well, Lukaku can scores quite a few but he will be quiet in big games. He is inexperienced so he can't become a big game player yet.
-
There are only 3 world class strikers available atm, the rest are staying or have moved on: Rooney-£35-£40m and £200-£250k per week Suarez-£45-£55m and £100k per week Jackson Martinez-40m euros and very low wages compared to other players, maybe around £50-£70k Now if we don't get either of these 3 there are no point getting anyone else because they will not be improving our team.
-
OMG do you want to go back to ultra defending shut out after scoring 1-2 goals again? Our current team can't do that, not capable of doing that. Not with players like Hazard, Mata, Oscar. Neither was world class at the time either, they were just good strikers. Drogba didn't become world class until a few years later starting from 2006.
-
Naa too much pressure, he couldn't cope.
-
LOL if we are gonna offer £10m+ £150-£200k per week for Eto'o then you better off sign Jackson Martinez for 40m euros and offer him £60k per week
-
Doubt he would play for MU again until the end of the transfer window unless he comes out and say that he is staying.
-
Do you have an account on the Man City forum too? The problem is though most of the time the opposite fans just sign up to other team's forum to troll...etc instead of having real conservations, maybe you might want to seriously chat which would be great as long as that is what it is. To be fair many people are always abusing an opposite fan for expressing their negative views about our players. Like anything bad being said about Luiz, Hazard, Lampard...etc will result in abuse and people come out to attack you. They can't take criticism on their fav players.
-
You said you don't care which striker we buy but then say must be world class haha Well Lukaku is gonna be stepping up and be best in the world remember, according to many of our fans

Prediction: Chelsea 3-0 Hull City

Jackson Martinez is always available for 40m euros in case this fails to go through...Anyone would like him here? Napoli offered 32m euros for him but was rejected because Porto wanted full clause of 40m. Now I know it might be a bit much but compare to Suarez/Rooney he is actually much cheaper, he is probably on like £30k at Porto atm so if we offer him £70-£80k I am sure he would accept it, then we just pay that clause without the need to negotiate anything. While he might only be at Porto for one season, his stats is just as good as Falcao's first season at Porto. So if we are unable to get Rooney, not interested in Suarez then maybe we could be in for him?
