Just confirmed-release clause apparently £60-£80m but only available to non English clubs
-
You should have been on Arsenal forum when they lost to Villa 3-1 lol, there were like 10 threads about sacking Wenger. MU forum 2 weeks ago, melt down at its best. RAWK last season, that was comedy gold, now Spurs forum as well. Point is whenever the club is in bad shape/form, obviously there will be concerns shared around forum because the fans care, if we were winning consistently nobody would even have anything negative to say but we are not. The point of the forum is discussion though, not to praise players/coach. Because since they are not reading this, it will go unnoticed.

This, if that is the case what is the job of the director of football lol. So say our budget is £50m and Jose wants to spend £40m on Ibra for example, the club would never allowed it because he doesn't fit the policy, of course Jose would get the final says in transfer but never his own way completely.
-
Personally I don't really care about that record, even Bayern-best team in the world atm lost at home last week lol. Yeah when 3 of of your strikers scored less than 10 goals after 1/3 of the whole season then of course you are not gonna be champion, Suarez himself have near 20 goals already. So to be a champion, we need a champion worthy striker

Does ruthless mode=1-0 winning mode?
-
Wouldn't even be surprised if he is not in the squad on Monday and if we lose, the newspaper will start countless articles on how there is cold war at Chelsea between Cole and Mou(which probably is true for once)
-
The only old player at Chelsea atm deserves his contract imo, unlike Frank and Cole.
-
You are making some nice sigs man
-
Thread close? Signed new 4 years contract
-
Cole is pretty much finished at Chelsea, especially after out partying with Arsenal yesterday
-
Would be quite funny if Liverpool don't get into CL at the end of this season and he start up another tantrum next summer lol
-
Koke, Raul Garcia, Turan, Gabi, Suarez with Adrian as back up
-
If you could name 1 person on here who said that I will be grateful. We had 'good MATCHES' under him(Villa, Basel...etc) no one said we played good football overall with him. Same as no one is saying he is better than Jose. What expectations are you talking about? The basic ones like playing good proper attacking football? Winning at least a trophy every season or come pretty close to winning them?
-
Lol where do you read that?
-
Witsel>both
-
Completely agree with you there. But judging from manager point of view I really think he can't be compared to Sir Alex, that man is the true definition of a 'manager', a term being used far too loosely nowadays imo. Jose looks more like a head coach type now at Chelsea for me, he got the final say in transfer but obviously Emmenalo and Roman got more say in it. It isn't like his 1st spell anymore, I think now he could ask for a player but then we need to consider prices, wages, age, long term plan? and all that.
-
He believes money is better spending on helping children in Africa and actually quite the opposite, when FFP come into full effect the days of us and Man City are over. The new owner could build a whole new stadium to increase revenue for their new team though
-
Shit just realized what an amazing team he had at Porto so his success wasn't really that surprised Helton No idea Bruno Alves No Otamendi No idea Moutinho Guarin Fernando Hulk Falcao James/Valera Moutinho, Hulk, Falcao, James all eventually being sold for world class fees and soon Guarin will be playing for us, while a lot of teams were rumored to be interested in Otamendi in the summer, Bruno Alves is a regular for Portugal and also earned quite a big money move to Zenit. This team is much better than most teams in Europe at the time so winning Europa league wasn't really that hard
-
Hmm I agree about Rafa but not sure about Pep and Sir Alex, Pep actually dominated Jose when he first came to Madrid, Jose really only got the better from 11-12 on ward and there is a reason why almost every top team last season went after him. While Sir Alex is just one of the best manager in football history, maybe even in top 3?
-
When did you said it lol? If it was any where from May-Sep last year then I guess that title is well deserved But the truth is we would all be screaming in happiness when Drogba scored that header then the penalty. But nowadays looking back there are some things we have to be ashamed of like the style that got us it. It is just like in WW2, I believe even at the end of the war and maybe 5-10 years after it, some German would still have praises for Hitler and believe he was a great leader. 50 years later and now less than 1% German believe he was good, maybe even less. It is just that the emotion changes with time, for example if we pack the bus and got lucky win at Arsenal next Monday, we would all go crazy and said after the math''fuck the world, we won!!!'' but then a few days later looking back, we would then see how bad/boring we were in that match. So the emotion play a big part imo, time too. I believe none of us would have even debated about this if we knew Jose was gonna be our manager from this season after that QPR defeat for example. Now some people are even praising Rafa, unthinkable after that defeat, just shows how emotion can overrule us all. And I agree about your last statement, but not in the next 10 years. Remember Madrid have spent on average £70-£100m for like the last 5 years to try and win it but still can't, while Bayern won after reaching like the 3rd final in 4 years. But eventually I hope/believe we will win it again
-
Agreed, and I am sure many fans would want that either. What is really the purpose of winning the CL if you are gonna score and try to defend on your lead for the rest of the game. It is not like we are some Romania club who is trying to make one of the greatest shock in football history by winning the CL, we are Chelsea-one of the best team in England and the whole base on brand atm. I want everyone to talk about Chelsea with positive(obviously doesn't include opposition trolls) like we are doing with City, with Dortmund, with Madrid despite not liking them in any sense(for me at least). Do we really want to be talked about as the most boring champion in history? or most lucky one which was the case in 2012? And obviously, I believe tension was already built up way before this new anyway. Not a coincidence that Cole have sat out for last month and a half despite not being injured, Dave is good but it is not like he is performing unbelievably at LB, just doing the basic things for a defender
-
On his last season form yes indeed, but then again Pato was worth £40m at one point before his injury problems kick in
-
Roman after fighting all the mini boss it is the boss. And fighting Roman in Chelsea is like fighting Aquaman under water, you just won't win. But in all seriousness I hope it doesn't come to that, the perfect solution would be a couple of players being sold and a few top players being brought in to replace them, the team starts to play good football(doesn't have to be groundbreaking pressing, just good ACCURATE attacking football) and a new striker would hopefully start to bang them in. Everyone get on well again, but then again nothing in life is that simple straight forward, there is just bound to be twist and turn, I hope eventually it will be for the good.
