1 good question. Wouldn't know, probably my first pastor although I became a Christian when I was already 21 2 I have three majors: social communication (with a minor in Marketing), theology and pedagogy (early age teaching) - thanks for the intelligent though. Next I'm planning a masters degree in London in children's education. 3 I don't even own a TV currently, so definitely a book. The only thing I watch on tv is football and for that I have a multimedia projector - that I'm too lazy to turn on to watch anything else. 4 Because I think it's a childish award... if I were a decade and a half younger I'm positive I would have loved it. At age 34 I'm over that kind of thing (but I have no problem with whoever likes it, regardless of their age, I'm talking solely about myself. There's nothing wrong with liking it at whatever age)

Prague Except that I'm choosing to answer post by post (which will increase pages) because I tend to write too much (who doesn't know that by now?) - I don't think it may be longer than other hot seats, just about the same, people are interested in the first couple of days, then it dies out. Henrique's was quite popular around here...
-
I think he is over hyped - and if you think the hype is big there, you have no idea how big it is here... regardless of the WC. He's always been very much hyped, but I think he's going turn out to be a great player. I think he has the potential, the right mind and the focus to become everything I envision him becoming, which is one of the best players in this generation, the same way I think Eden will. I put him and Eden at the same level, so you know well how I feel. They have plenty of potential, but they're still young and it's okay if they don't live up to all expectations right away. I think he'll have a great World Cup. He feels very comfortable playing here and for the NT. There's no reason why he wouldn't. He craves success and doesn't seem to be the kind of guy that allows the pressure to consume him. You mean position by position, from any nationality? If so, I'll have to think and probably research a bit, but if you mean one team, Germany. Cristiano Ronaldo. No doubts about it. I simply worship the guy - and that's not even based on his looks, although he is good looking. I could watch Cris playing for the rest of my life and I wouldn't get tired. He isn't a genius, he isn't even the most talented, but he is the most entertaining imo. He always makes me jump from my chair and say 'can't believe he did it'. He's phenomenal imo - but far from being the most good looking. That would be Marchisio I have a thing for blonds with blue eyes. Those are pretty much my favorite, but I'm a sports person. I love watching NBA and I love playing volleyball too (the only sport I play in addition to tennis). I used to like F1, but not much these days (it's kind of boring). I love watching the Olympic Games (winter and summer). I love rugby too, but not much American Football. Books: Crime and Punishment, The Divine Comedy, Le Petit Prince, War and Peace, The Brothers Karamazov Authors: Fyodor Dostoyevsky and Dante Alighieri. And I hate Paulo Coelho, lol I looooove classic rock. I like blues, jazz, classic, grunge, punk rock, pop rock too. My fave is classic rock though.

What's the fun of telling everything? Now that's something I want a man to do by himself. I do know what I like in a man, so maybe that could help? I like men who behave like men. This metrosexual bullshit isn't for girls like me. I'm old school and I like my men old school too. So a man who knows what he wants, who isn't afraid to approach a girl and get a no for an answer, who will step into his hole - that being the leader, sort of protector, the strongest link. I'm here to be the lady. I'm not some damsel in distress, I don't need saving, I think I'm quite strong, but if a man wants to treat me as the most special thing and protect me with his life, I'm all for it. Just because I can strong doesn't mean I want to be strong all the time. I'm here to be his helper, his supporter, but to stand behind him nonetheless. I don't have even one feminist cell in my body. Brazil is a complex country, too big, the people too corrupted and 'dreamy', it's hard, I wouldn't want to be the president in the first place. We have so much money that is so bad distributed. I would need a great economy minister to help me because I think that's the worst thing. So much with just a few and way too many living below misery... I don't know how I would do it, but that would be my priority. Political view wise I'm very much in the 'right'. I don't know if that's how you guys view internationally, but here we have right and left where right is the one's that keep things as they are and the left are more revolutionary. I'm a conservative person I guess. I'm a Christian as I said above and a zealous one on that. So God - not religion - is a big part in my life. I had my ups and downs, but I'm in an up moment and I hope to keep it like that for as long as possible. But I think religion is subjective and everyone has a right to be whatever they want. Of course, based on my beliefs of going to heaven and what it requires, I would love for everyone to accept Jesus in their lives and be saved. But that's what I believe... others believe differently and I respect them. I won't evangelize people right and left because I feel like if they see Jesus in my life, in my actions and not only my words and they want to know more about it, they'll ask. I think I show my beliefs the best in the way I act, not talking about something that for many doesn't even make any sense. My maid of honor in my wedding didn't share the same religion as me - actually it shocked a few people that I asked someone from her religion to be something so important in my wedding, but I loved her beyond her beliefs and I would do it again. A big house in London - that's the number one priority as my dream is to move to London for good and the biggest reason for that is Chelsea - although I love everything London and England are about and I love Wimbledon too But I love British music (it's by a great distance the best in the world), I like the British way of life (opposite to the American), I LOVE the weather. Cold, drizzles and rain is like my perfect weather. So there are a lot of reasons, but I'd give everything to be able to hold a season ticket and watch every Chelsea match. I'm big in charity too, so I'd probably help my family and a few friends who may need money (who doesn't?) and support a few projects in Brazil, especially towards kids. So I'd save about 5 million to charity, 5 million in a house and cars (I'm absolutely PASSIONATE about cars), and I'd probably invest the rest in properties around the world, in stocks and other kinds of investment and probably would start some business. Probably would open a school and a restaurant. Inspiration, definitely my mother. She's such a fighter, strong, lovely, compassionate, wonderful woman that I look up to all the time and I wish I was as half as amazing as she is. I ask her advice constantly and I held a huge respect towards her, even though we certainly have our little arguments that sometimes are a bit more heated than I wanted, but well, can't deny the Italian blood running in my veins Idols... Sports related Peter Sampras, Zico, Magic Johnson, Rafael Nadal, Javier Zanetti, Ayrton Senna, Tostão. Showbiz related Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Dickison, James Hetfield, Angelina Jolie, Robert Redford, Robert de Niro, Al Pacino. Literature: Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Leo Tolstoi, Machado de Assis, Dante Alighieri.

that's something I quite agree. we don't have a player as him - versatile that can play different positions and tactical systems, but I'm still not convinced we really need him. I think our pivot needs improvement and I think he's improvement to Ramires in every possible way except defensively, but that doesn't mean he is completely unreliable that he will compromise our defensive system. we have Matic now, we don't need two predominantly defensive players in the pivot imo. Only one real DM and a B2B player. I think Cesc is a good B2B player, but I'd still target someone else. The thing is the others are too expensive and we have more than one position to improve. We needed someone in the mold of Modric - but who, as Luka himself isn't available? I haven't watched much football this season outside of EPL and La Liga (a few Calcio matches and that's it), so I don't know who would play the same role as well as Luka. I don't think Kroos is the same kind of player, Schweinsteiger isn't for sale, Pogba isn't there yet imo, and Koke is probably off to Barça. Who then?
-
No, Germany. I wanted to watch the German team live. I haven't checked yet if they're going to play there of if it's Brazil's side of the draw that is more likely to play there, but I'm almost sure it's Germany. I hope it is. I'd love to watch them. I could watch Brazil anytime I want during the qualification to next world cup - although I've never been to a Brazil match as an adult, only as a child. I'm really not into international football. But in general I'd love Brazil to play Argentina. We always owe their arse.

Love... well I think is the thing I was made for. I wouldn't go as far as saying I'm as loving as they get, but I love people way too easily (but I'm very hard to fall in love with a man). I don't know, I look at people with loving eyes, so I think it means everything to me. Generally speaking, I think is the most powerful feeling, emotion and I also believe it to be a commitment. We have to be committed to love. That's why you don't abandon your partner or give your back to your family. It's not only about if you feel up to love them or not, but you being committed to love them. Love can make everything, can reach even the coldest heart and as a Christian I truly believe love touches us. If someone is harsh on you or attacks you and you answer that with love, they'll feel bad about their actions, there's no other way, even if they don't express their embarrassment. Loves conquers everything, as cliché as it sounds, I believe it to be true. Now romantic love... is about chemistry. Once you have chemistry with someone passion sprouts and passion sometimes evolve into love. I don't know, as I said above I'm very hard to fall in love, I'm a very much rational person, although I self indulge a lot too (meaning I allow myself to do certain things just because I feel like doing them). So if mentally I'm convinced I should do something, I do it. To reach out my heart is difficult. I do say 'I love you' easily, but normally because I love people easily in a general way. But when I fall in love with someone, it's for life. It takes a while and some things I'm not even aware of, but once it happens, I'm done. I'll fight with everything I have to keep that love and if possible that person too, if it depends on me. I'm quite comfortable being that way. I think I'd be really uncomfortable if I fell in love easily or got over it easily. Well, I'll need to make a quick research and compare the two of them. Then I'll come back to answer Out: Fernando Torres, Fernando Torres and Fernando Torres. I wouldn't mind Ramires and Bertrand out either, but well, if Torres leaves I won't ask us to offload another player in a decade. In: Cristiano Ronaldo, Xabi Alonso, Bastian Schweinsteiger - if I choose the players I love the most currently. If it's to cover the positions we need: Luka Modric, Radamel Falcao (think he's way better than Costa), Luke Shaw. Working at Chelsea promoting the team in Brazil. When you ask properly. Now you'll need to find out what asking me out properly involves Now comparing this:https://www.google.com.br/search?q=branislav+ivanovic+ass&client=firefox-a&hs=Sjw&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&channel=sb&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=qZeQU9_yDM7UsAS8x4HABw&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ&biw=1366&bih=641#channel=sb&q=branislav%20ivanovic%20bum&revid=1477193428&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&tbm=isch&imgdii=_ with this: https://www.google.com.br/search?q=eden+hazard+ass&client=firefox-a&hs=zOH&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&channel=sb&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=speQU46xA7LQsQT5_YDoDw&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAQ&biw=1366&bih=641#channel=sb&q=eden%20hazard%20bum&revid=1731126939&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&tbm=isch&imgdii=_ I'd say Eden has the better ass It's rounder (as a good Brazilian, I'm obsessed with asses - first thing to look at someone, hahahahaha)

I'm not into international football, although the WC is an exception and I actually watch a few matches. I'm a club's kind of fan and I have little patriotic feelings towards Brazil when it comes to NT because of CBF (Brazilian football association). I normally support Brazil in all sports, unless I have a personal problem with the team/athlete. I have huge issues with CBF. They used the NT to get rich (Ricardo Teixeira and his staff and now that clown that is there), they allow the most ridiculous things to happen in Brasileirão (our league), our calendar is messed up, our league despite all potential is too weak, everything related to the NT is about money and their interests. I'm only supporting this team to a degree because of Felipão, who is an honest person, but others before him used the NT to rise players price tags because their agents got CBF to do that stuff. It's a shame, corrupted, and the Brazilian people in general are slowly losing their love for the NT. Of course, the overwhelming population still loves the NT but if you compare the impact, interest, and support it had let's say 20 years ago to what it has now, you'll see how different things are. So that's why I don't normally support Brazil anymore - but that's only regarding football. As for Germany, yeah, they're my faves. I love so many players in that team and I think they have big chances of winning, that's why I'm supporting them. I had the same feelings towards Spain in the last wc and I thought I'd support them again, but a lot of their players annoy me these days (although I still love some of them such as Xabi Alonso), so I can't support them again. I really love Netherlands too, and I have a thing for Belgium. And out of respect for Felipao and many boys I love in our NT team, I'll support them too, but my main support is going to be to Germany.
-
yep, the semifinal played in Belo Horizonte
-
and how do you explain the worse than average game he had yesterday? As bad if not worse as the last ones he played for us... Shouldn't he have showed clear improvement yesterday if it was all about saving himself for Brazil?
-
Brazil is third in my preference, behind Germany and then Belgium. I'm not anti-WC here, I'm not anti-WC in general, I just don't enjoy it all that much... I think Brazil has good chances of reaching the final, and from there, who knows. I think the biggest chances are Germany's anyway... They're my faves and my preference. The only reason I haven't bought a Germany kit yet is because it's so ugly that I can't imagine myself wearing that. Their second kit is very similar to my Brazilian side and it seems it was even a homage. Can't find it here Last world cup I bought Spain's kit just before it started and I guessed right that the final would be Spain beating Netherlands. I'm actually pretty good guessing WC winners, lol.
-
hmm... improvement, and I hope he fits well and scores... he's not my kind of striker and I hope this small bad feeling is about only my preference and not about anything else. Wish him the best, best, best of luck while with us and hope that it goes better than I feel it will end up being.
-
I rate him for what he is, regardless of where he plays. and please, as you said yourself, doing well in Russia means absolutely nothing... and I disagree on the very good CL run. Good, nothing outstanding or even very good. He's limited, something Willian isn't imo. His finishing is on and off, depends on the day.
-
he is better for sure than Hulk because that isn't that hard to start with. Thing is NT teams are about instant chemistry more than long-term chemistry. So Hulk worked well in the confed cup and has been around for a while... therefore chances of Willian displacing him are minimal as Willian is quite new in the group
-
I'm sure there won't be any. TCers are classy and I can take a light joke
-
The book may never come, but my hot seat thread I guess starts this week I asked Spike and he told me I was 5th in the list
-
I never know if I'm supposed to take that as a compliment or a bad thing... and I'm actually afraid to ask. Maybe it's because I'm always very emphatic in my view and it may lead some to think I'm stating my opinion as a fact, but I'm not. I don't try to establish my view as the right one, but I like to defend my view and give my arguments for that, but I'm not trying to speak the truth above all truths...
-
I'll kill Jose myself if we switch to a 4-3-3 and he doesn't play Oscar as the third mildfielder... kidding about the killing part, but I'd be pissed. That's his best position currently imo. Oscar >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Ramires ****************************************************************************************************************** things I read in those odd 20 pages I've just read (post by post) and my take on them 1) Cesc and nobody is replacing Lamps. Lamps as a Blue is not replaceable, as a midfielder Cesc isn't the kind of player to replace him either. different kind of #8s imo 2) Cesc is a #8, not #10 and definitely not a false 9, no matter who decided to play him there. Barcelona have been a mess since the last Pep season there. They've got 3 managers in the last two seasons and it's a transition moment for them as their key players started the descending years of their careers (Puyol, Iniesta, Xavi) in addition to Messi having more physical issues in the last two seasons than usual 3) Cesc isn't as bad defending as some of you make him out to be 4) Cesc is even less amazing as most of you make him out to be. A good player and although as I stated I hate him, but I can recognize his qualities. I wish we had someone like Modric instead (even though Mou underused Luka in RM and he played much better at Spurs and under Carlo than under Mourinho). Now I think there are some important information some seem to have overlooked or forgot based on what Mourinho said early in the season from July-November. He was signed to make us one of the best teams in the world, with an offensive style. Some may argue that he's the wrong man for the job, but his second season at RM had one of the most successfully offensive and dangerous teams I've watched. He can do it, he just won't sacrifice his defensive solidness for that. He needs and will always pursue a solid defense so he can afford having a more offensive team. I'm not saying he's absolutely the right guy for the job, but dismissing his offensive capabilities, tactics and systems and labeling him as a defensive guy is something worth of our rivals fans and his haters. He's made mistakes, but I think he can see them and I believe he can get the right team for what he wants next. Why am I talking about it? Because I don't think we need two overly defensive pivot players (such as Ramires and Matic or Mikel or whoever more you want to add here) for 75% of the matches we play. We can work with Matic and a B2B ahead of him just fine. I think Ramires is a B2B, as much as Lamps and Cesc also are although the three of them have completely different qualities and styles. Oscar offers a lot of support to our pressing midfield and if we move to a 4-3-3 (my biggest prayer for next season, right after a reliable striker) he can offer even more, while also supporting the attack. I can see us playing 4-3-3 against stronger sides with Matic-Ramires-Oscar and all other matches (about 75% of them) either with a 4-2-3-1 with Matic-Cesc or even the same 4-3-3 except with an inverted triangle of Matic with Oscar and Cesc ahead of them. So I don't expect Mourinho to sign another Matic-like player to play by his side (also he already has a defensive guy on Ramires, to a lesser degree). I expect someone like Modric or Lamps (would rather a Modric), but how many of those are really available? I can't stand Cesc, I don't think he's that great, but he is definitely major improvement from what we have in the pivot currently. And no, I don't think he offers Oscar, Hazard or Willian any competition for the #10 and Mourinho doesn't play false 9, especially with a real 9 coming for sure - thanks God for that.
-
I'm dead serious. I'll take whoever replaces Ramires as long as they're technically superior and as much as I hate Cesc in general and think most of you overrate him technically, he's miles ahead of Ramires...
-
you know how much I don't rate Ramires technically when I'm willing to accept Fiberglass as his replacement... There are three players I just hate in the football world: Dani Alves, Sergio Busquets and Cesc Fabregas... but I'm willing to swallow my pride and self-respect and support this SOB if it means Ramires hits the bench. I like Ramires as a guy, but as a footballer, I'm fed up with his limitations and how he messes up our attacks and his own tackles 3 seconds after regaining possession. Bring Cunt Fiberglass if that's what it takes to get rid of Ramires in the starting XI
-
I'm honestly and literally crying now. I'm one of those people who thought he was leaving or retiring and even think that would be appropriate from a technical point of view... but now there's a knot in my throat and it won't go away and I can't stop crying... I'm nearly sobbing actually and I can't even blame hormones on this one. I'll miss him so much... I don't know if I can recognize Chelsea without him. I mean, I'll always be a Blue, the club is bigger than any player, but for so long Chelsea and Frank Lampard were synonyms, the same thing, something you couldn't separate, intrinsically connected. Chelsea will continue to be Chelsea, but a small spark just died now in the club. Frank Lampard is beyond a legend. That word fits Didier well, but it seems too short to describe what Frank represents to this club. I expected to be sad, but damnit, I'm completely heartbroken actually. crying like a baby
-
which continues to lead me to believe his jags aren't towards Mou... he's been talking those things in a NT perspective. Someone implied this would be his last WC and he said he believes he can play another two. Why would he celebrate like that in a friendly NT meaning to hit Mourinho? I think it's someone from the Cameroon federation
-
I actually believe it was likely for him to leave the moment Terry got a quick new contract and him and Cole didn't. I don't think it's money talking or him thinking he's better than being a squad member here. I think the club just isn't that willing to keep him anymore especially because he'd only be a squad member... Ofc I don't believe the Mirror, but I still think he won't play for us again in official matches, or if he decides to retire, he'll play one more time and then retire... Either way, it's sad because the Chelsea I started watching is a lot Frank Lampard. Of course he isn't bigger or even as big as the club, but this man has always been the greatest ambassador to the club for as long as I've been a fan. He represented Chelsea wherever he went and I'll miss him dearly, but if the club decides to let him go, I'll support the club, not only because the club matters the most, but especially because I do believe it's time we part ways... sadly, but true.
-
I think a combination of everything you guys said happened. He was injured at least twice since January, he had a dip of form and he had been mentally distracted by the world cup. I think he can't help in any of the three because I doubt that he consciously spared himself for the world cup. That comical (not to say ridiculous) interview by Parreira confirmed that Oscar preferred to have been playing ahead of the world cup instead of being in the bench, so I think the problem was his little age and experience. He was just hit by the pressure (maybe even having to replace Mata, although I'm not so sold on that) and physical issues and then he had some terrible months for us, but I wouldn't for one moment question his commitment to us when he says privately to his NT staff that he wishes he'd played more. At the end of the day he's just too young and although he's very precocious he's still only a 22yo and I think his inability to deal with anxiety, pressure and to keep playing in a consistent high level affected him. I expect most of those things to be dealt with after the WC - maybe except the physical issues. This boy played way too much football in the last two years and a half and when you look at him you see the opposite of a Cristiano Ronaldo, whose body is a machine. If anything, Oscar looks frail, still he's probably one of the top 10 (maybe even top5) players in most matches played ranking in the last twenty-five months.
-
I'm positive he's staying... there's no reason for him to leave, if Mourinho wanted him here last year, I don't see why he wouldn't now that we don't have Luiz, Mikel is likely to leave and probably won't have Lampard either.
