Mata won't start next season with bastian coming in. It's common knowledge on even redcafe that both herrara and mata cannot start at the same time, and I'm guessin the former will be the starter as one of the cms on the team. Also, ashley young was one of lvg best players last season, even though he sucks in general

exactly. same amount of games doesn't really equal. I see it as when one is on the treadmill. Both people can run for 30 mins, but one guy is at higher resistance and incline than the other guy. Doesn't mean it is the same because they essentially run the same amount of time.

I think you guys are underestimating City. Had they didn't had all those injury problems and yaya being a complete tool, they would of been a better challenge for the title last season.. For some reason City has been doing this for the past few years, winning title and sucking ass the next year than winning it again.

They already had 2 rbs on their squad and when healthy and tempered controlled, Raphael smokes both of them. I love bastian, but I don't think bastian is what united needed. Depay I see more of a second striker player, similar to how Reus and Ronaldo play now. Depay could start off on the left wing, but essentially would be in the middle than be an out and out winger. THey need a dm. Carrick is old and bound to get hurt again and Blind is blind. United and Arsenal got big names, but the overall weaknesses still haven't improved much.

United needed a replacement for carrick, a cb, a de gea replacement and a winger. GOT NONE OF THEM.

Di maria. blind. fellaini. adan. young. valencia. Under LVG, young and valencia were better players than Mata was. Herrara, carrick and bastian would be the slowest midfield in europe and the most unathletic. I would put di maria on the right side since lVG likes pacey players on the wings and I doubt LVG would field mata and herrara at the same time on a consistent basis.

Preinjured reus is a no brainer. The reus I watched against dortmund and munich in the cup games was terrible.

Essentially, when mikel is introduced all attacking instincts go out the door and we park the bus hoping and praying that Thibo going to save us........ And yea the city and united games were the top of my head, but a few times, he was introduced and if it chaos... So, unless your betting on Thibo to save us everytime, Mikel is not and should not be an option. He can do one thing well, play as dm/cb when the bus in park and even than, I don't think he plays that well. Jose already had a better dm on the first team and he loaned him.
